Anyone else seriously disappointed by the last episode?

Yep, I really enjoyed the first three and then the wheels.started coming off as it got further in to the unravelling of the crime.
Also, taking back the cheating husband 🤑

They badly needed a continuity person. The stories about the laptop and the gun didn’t match across the episodes. I also can’t work out how a 7O year old bloke could carry a corpse down stairs, into his car, unload the body at the other end, get it into the garden and dig a grave , all unaided.

The Polish chap wouldn’t need a work permit to work in France , he would be an EU citizen and so could work legally in any EU country.

Iif the peer’s solicitor had played his recording of the interview , I suspect the chief detective would have been suspended,if not fired. Any case would collapse because the defence could argue intimidation under interview.

as for the rape case being prosecuted…..on the basis of a 57 year old letter and some hearsay 😹.

Fairly poor, really.

Very disappointing, I got a bit lost tbh. I loved the other series- this one not so much.
Plus how did she manage to hide the body in the chimney breast, lift it up on her own?

i put off seeing the ending
although reading the guardian recap, i was expecting Hayley Mills to be involved!
it did tie up quite nicely.

overall enjoyable series.
although can anyone explain where Sunny's daughters are?

Unless I missed it, Sunny's kids weren't mentioned at all during the whole series.

After his wife left him and their two girls to live with another man, Sunny eventually started dating Sal. Out of the blue in series three, Sunny’s wife told him she wanted to come back home and resume family life. Believing it would be the right thing for his daughters, Sunny asked them what they wanted, and they told him that he was much happier with Sal and they wanted him to be happy. At the beginning of series four, Sunny and the girls are packing to move house and live together with Sal.
