I honestly feel like I don’t look forward to Corrie anymore 😔 It makes me really sad when I think of how much I used to love it.

The most interesting part of the last couple of episodes was Max morphing into a young Sinead O’Connor 😄 I kind of liked the oddly camp black lad in the Young Offenders unit too. It was sad to hear how stilted some of Barbara Knox’s dialogue sounded though. I hope it isn’t getting too much for her.

@WomanStanleyWoman2 I'm a lurker and long long time watcher of Corrie, I feel sad too, it’s been my go to programme for most of my life and I still watch regularly but it’s pretty awful these days. Why can’t the writers / directors see what we all see?!

I feel the same, can’t remember any time in the last 30 years that ive done something else rather than watch Corrie, i've started just getting updates from you guys on here, such a shame

I feel really sad about how terrible the storylines have become and feel disappointed for the actors they must be embarrassed. I have been watching for about 45 years and i am now thinking about giving up

Just been catching up after holiday and a word of praise from me. Bit of a silly storyline with Gayle's 'stimulator' but I laughed at David's brilliant timing when he walked into the Rovers, saw her with it, turned round and walked straight out again, deadpan.

Against that, the unbelievable attempted sexing-up of Sarah with her leather look and swishy hair etc. Sarah-Lou doesn't do sultry I'm afraid. [She can pass on that jacket to me mind - just my style 😀]

Aged, @TellingBone - Sarah is pretty, well-groomed and wholesome - far from the adventurous siren she's being portrayed as at present!

Sarah just seems to be making random decisions about who she wants to have sex with and whether she wants a baby or not.

I know soaps love a 'who's the daddy" plot but this is absurd, especially as the answer to that question is rarely 'the husband.

And nevermind Sarah's new outfits, what is Adam dressed as, milk tray man? Ninja?

I know she’s really starting to on my very last very impatient nerve. You don’t chop and change your mind over something like that.
You don’t one month want a baby and the next month you don’t. It’s probably one of the biggest decisions a person can ever make.

Oh I hope the writers and don’t see this thread and get reminded of it and rehash it. I’ll blame you if they do. 🤣🤣🤣. I swear they must sit there sometimes and say “Right what’s the most bleeding borinest story line we could possibly come up with.

I do wish I lived on coronation street. Children there are so easily pleased and usually look after themselves. No stressing about how to get child x to gym whilst child y is at swimming and child z at brownies.

Except when the mum has to take someone to bad girl school or soccer camp for months and dad has to stay behind. Luckily nobody has to do a few loads of washing to take on an extended trip away.
