Anyone watching?

FBI agent with a back story, some sort of terrorism, the Secret Service, POTUS, Vice POTUS, assassins, etc.

Pretty good so far.

The only thing I don't like is the Natural Born Killers assassins side story. It's not adding anything. Or maybe the actress is just a bit annoying.

I watched the first five episodes last night and I'm quite enjoying it. I know what you mean about the assasins. I can't decide whether to laugh or be annoyed. There's certainly a good dose of black humour about them.

I've just googled at the Chief of Staff was born in 1978. Her lovely silver hair must be dyed.

The main guy is growing on me. He's like a young Matt Damon.

I’ve watched it, it was fun, nothing new but fun! Reminds me a bit of the Reacher tv series. The main leads are likeable , I agree that the male lead does have some Matt Damon vibes and it’s the first hairy chest I’ve seen on tv in a while!

I binge watched it all non stop on Friday, really enjoyed it.

I’ve actually never seen 24, think I’ll have to watch that next.

Just finished 24 The Night Agent tonight. Peter is the casting blend of Matt Damon and Richard Maddon. Agree re the ending OP-surely it will have a season 2?

I think that they're positioning themselves for season 2 etc to be possible but yes i enjoyed it

Yes really enjoying it but did find it a habit hard to believe that a highly trained FBI agent wouldn’t check his car for trackers.

24 was very like that though, just glossed over unlikely stuff.

Why does the female assassin keep putting on wigs that in no way alter her appearance? Apart from that, I'm enjoying it!

😝 so true, especially on the boat- open networks for all on the seas for streaming and hacking into major security systems. Also, when Diane Farr, The White House chief of staff arrives home, goes in through just an average front door with a yale type of handle, not even a home alarm system that she deactivates 😂 v.relaxed about security. At least they did appear to eat and referenced taking toilet/shower breaks.

It’s why we loved 24, I remember there was a joke at the time about their HR not being able to keep up with who should be on payroll from one day to the next.😆

I've just started this tonight. Enjoying it so far - I thought it was Matt Damon on the trailer pic. Agree on the 24 vibes - it's giving me the nervous feeling I used to get watching it.

Just finished it , agree with 24 vibes but I would say mixed with a good dose of The Bodyguard (the BBC tv show, not the Kevin Costner movie).

Loved it, predictable maybe but really really well made. Very tense in parts.
I appreciate a pantomime villain (I was a bit upset when they were done away with) adored Rose, she was tough and smart, none of that shrieking helpless business, she just got on with beating or pushing people folk to their death.
Reminded me a bit of Homeland too, as well as the previously mentioned shows.

Finished. Really enjoyed it. Fairly predictable but not ridiculously stupid like some programmes DH watches.

Just finished episode 1. Pretty good but not getting 24 vibes at all (which is one of the best dramas ever made in my opinion)

Will stick with it though as we need a good drama to get into

I think we must be odd. Dh and I finished it last night and it was more a case of we've started it so we might as well finish it rather than either of us enjoying it. I really didn't like Rose and there were some really dumb lines in it 'Do you know someone called Osprey?', 'It must be a code name' no fucking shit sherlock and that was said about 3 times by different people. It wasn't for me at all.
