I think the problem with love island is it's the same thing every year, we know what to expect, the contestants know what to expect (and try to play to it) they should change the format each year, different tasks, rules, games etc. it keeps it fresh and means the contestants can't play the show so easily. Also less influencers!

It was with Samie and Tom, so could have been more of a friendly get together. I assume Claudia would be happy for more though.

I went to see Back to the Future the musical last night. Amber (Ken & Amber 2017) plays Lorraine. Had no idea she was in it till she walked on stage! She was fabulous. She's dating Marty IRL now apparently.

Apparently her and Casey also met up with Aaron from this season and I've read rumours they're back on, which would be extremely stupid of Claudia!!

Claudia is under Scott Thomas PR everything she does and many of the other is purely for followers now and in a season with really low numbers the faux romances are just a relevance exercise such as Zara and Jordan, Rosie now wanting to date Keanan and whatever the Olivia and Maxwell relationship is. I reckon the Casey and Claudia is more of a tease to gain interest.

From him maybe, but Claudia was really upset when he ended it, so very likely she still has feelings for him.

She explained that to Scott, she was upset over the rejection and her own self esteem and this time she has friends and family who can see that Casey is desperate for attention. I don’t see her dad being ok with it. I can’t see any relationship unless it’s a mutual beneficial in the any publicity is good publicity.

Casey is DEFINITELY in it for publicity. He even mentioned that had he stayed with Claudia he would have gone further in the villa. That's why he dumped Rosie as soon as he came out and realised how unpopular she was/they were.

I saw Amber in 9 to 5 and she was really really good, I was surprised, I had pre-judged her ability!

Watching the twitter quotes episode on s1 on love island and they are all pissing themselves laughing. Nobody took offence. I think they saw being on the show as their big chance not what comes after so there was less worry about image.

On the advice of people on this thread, I've started S2, am about half way through and the difference is staggering!

Got to admit, seeing Sophie's speech after the talent show really hit me hard, knowing what happened after the series ended 😔

I never thought I'd say it but I actually kind of miss LI.

I don't think it's the programme itself but just having something to look forward to the end of the day, knowing it'll be summer, catching up on the LI threads and nightly round up from a couple I follow on TikTok.
