Olivia clearly has much better PR advice than Rosie and Casey. She's acting classy and gracious and saying all the right things PR-wise. Rosie and Casey pretty much the opposite

I think it was along those lines @kenyaswhiterefrigerator but difficult to follow without hearing the podcast. It's annoying how they were trying to cast Martin in a bad light as Tanya was the one who behaved badly. He did nothing wrong at all.

Seen a random article that popped up on my random Google news stories from the mirror that applications for the show are drying up as they're not allowed to have people manage their social media accounts whilst they're on the show now and their social media numbers haven't increased to get the big brand deals so people are getting put off.

They had a story on radio 1 newsbeat last week I think about this years changed to social media policy for love island. Zara was interviewed. She said that it limits their ability to gain followers and alluded that it was not fair as it’s hard for former islanders to go back to normal careers and they have to find ways to make money themselves. She wants this new rule to be optional - so you can have your account milking for followers whilst you’re in the villa if you wish to, and you accept dealing with the trolls etc.

I think on the face of it that seems fair until there's another unfortunate incident and ITV come under fire for it even though contestants opted in

Let’s be real Zara was a model and in music videos before love island. She can go back to doing that. Just peddling her argument because she hasn’t got the following she dreamed of I guess.

I'm still pretty annoyed at the way Tanya's indiscretion was pretty much pasted over - I know other people kissed etc in casa but I def picked up the impression there was a lot more to Tanya and Martin than any of the others.

I agree @TitsInAbsentia - her behaviour was poor & I hope Shaq gets rid soon. I really like him & think he'd be great on TV, so hope he's able to further his career (but not with Tanya by his side!)

Tanya was the queen of delusion in the villa. (The public voted for us because they preferred me with Martin etc)

I wonder if she's now blaming the 2% of the vote on Martin 'badmouthing' her in interviews rather than blaming her own behaviour.

She seemed to have fired Shaq up about what he said in various interviews and barely looked at Martin

I bailed on this pathetic series 2/3rds of the way through so on the advice on many here I have started watching series 2. Can I just say..OMG!! it's like watching a different show, such great fun and genuine un-producer led drama every episode- I am hooked!

A few things I've noticed-normal bikinis (right way up), less lip filler, genuine friendships, very little if any diversity in contestants, so many really funny laugh out loud moments and the sex..I was warned but oh my word..!!

I can see why they cut the alcohol consumption to an extent but it is fun seeing them tipsy but obviously leads to bad decisions (Zara..yes I am talking about you!) There must have been very little in the way of psychological testing before they went in as it is so clear to see even a couple of weeks in how troubled dear Sohpie was. And who let Tom in?? A walking red flag if ever there was one!

I know the show will never be like this again but they do need to look back and see just how entertaining it was back then when the producers did not meddle so much.

One article says Casey is back with Claudia. Probably just rumours. Had he stayed with Claudia he could have made the final, as she was very popular

I'm currently watching series 1. It's like a totally different show, they all just wander round in joggers or whatever smoking. Iain acting like one of the lads and Caroline giving her opinions on them all. It's funny in a dated way, there's lots of chat with the boys about how to shag the girls. It's not scripted at all and the challenges/dates are all better/more natural. It's a bit like early big brother.

This series was also the first one for years where they didn't use code (ie a football match or beauty salon) to discuss how far they'd gone in bed the night before. The morning chats were more about the evening before (as if none of the other islanders were there, or it hadn't been discussed at night).

I'm guessing the producers either encouraged them to do this before, or stopped them doing it now, as it's odd this year's contests would suddenly be coy about it.

Yeah I think/hope the producers had seen social media comments about how annoying it all was perhaps. At the start I think Tanya said some stuff about warming up for a football match or something? But thankfully it never came back

With Big Brother coming back this summer I hope it doesn't clash with Love Island but if it does I'll be watching Big Brother.

They've put BB back till Autumn so it doesn't.

Just started today's episode but what's with the powerful women having their boobs " out" Ramona in the first episode with her bra and apparently Marina in the black t shirt she will apparently be wearing in tonight's episode.
