I can't see a thread, I'm not the only one to be hooked by this am I? I'm on episode 6 now.

It isn't my sort of thing on paper, but it's so fun. All, well most of the contestants seem to be really nice and supportive of each other. When a team loses, each contestant seems to be adamant that it is their own personal fault.

Its just so weirdly wholesome.

I loved it! Just finished binging the whole lot 🙈 The real Squid Games. Some great challenges but totally not my normal TV viewing

Yes, I’ve watched it. We said imagine if this was made in the uk? There would be gobby dickheads and they would try and create a love interest angle between the contestants. They were so respectful and polite to each other.

We watched it and enjoyed it but have read some stuff since that has soured the result a fair bit unfortunately

I loved it. Apart from the 4325 angles of the same part, so they repeat the "ooooohs" said 4325 times. :)

This show was discussed on the most recent kdrama thread (also in Telly Addicts) as several of us watched it. It was unexpectedly engaging and surprisingly wholesome. It got the thumbs up on when we discussed it. The team challenges were interesting.

And yes, someone posted a link to the controversy about the final on our thread.

I'll have to take a peak when I've finished it boatyardblues Im quite hooked on K dramas. I've not seen anything about the controversy, I've been staying resolutely away from spoilers.

I loved it too. They all seemed so respectful, I especially liked how supportive the male contestants were of the female competitors. I’m hoping the controversy doesn’t involve misogyny.

The editing was frustrating, though. Lots of repetitive shots. I’d have preferred a shorter series with more punchy timing.

I absolutely loved it! The dubbing casting was wonderful.

I loved it too! Everybody was so polite and humble it was a joy to watch, and I enjoyed the challenges - it isn't my sort of thing at all and I just got pulled in by the trailer 😀

I actually tried the 'hanging from a rig for as long as you can' task at the gym a couple of weeks ago and it was stupidly hard 🤣

I really enjoyed this. Some of the challenges were crazy hard. Although I felt like every time I supported someone, they got eliminated 🙁

If you enjoyed the politeness, check out the 2 seasons of Singles Inferno on Netflix. Like Love Island but with well-mannered, clever people and some very competitive wrestling challenges on the beach.

My favourite thing about Physical 100 was how the teams that no one rated and had written off really gave it their all and surpassed the other teams’ expectations. It was so gratifying.

I keep thinking that I'm feeling inspired to lift a few weights and get all strong watching it, but then I find myself sitting on my bum watching the next episode flexing my non existent muscles in my head.

If anyone has finished Physical 100 and is looking for something else, I really enjoyed Run for the Money.

It’s a Japanese reality tv game show where 29 celebrities are trying to outrun 20 “Hunters”. There’s challenges and things like that.

The Hunters are quite chilling!

Four episodes of about 45/50 mins each.

We watched it because 6 year old DS loves all those Ninja Warrior, Beastmaster, the Void type shows. He wanted to watch the original Korean rather than the dubbed, which was a surprise.

No way would I have watched it out of my own choice, but it was surprisingly entertaining and they all seemed like such lovely people. The one-in-one combat went on a bit too long. I was also intrigued by the the non-Koreans who had sporting careers in Korea.

@boatyardblues is there discussion of The Extraordinary Attorney Woo anywhere? I looked at the thread you linked here and was surprised not to see it in the list.

I've really been enjoying it. AAW, P100 and Parasite are my only forays into Korean TV/film so far!

@NeverApologiseNeverExplain It should be on the list. I thought it had been added. Lots of us were watching as it aired so it was discussed at length and well liked. The discussion will be on the thread(s) that were live when it aired.
