It was Denzil ( Howie's son ) who has the plagiarism story ! Nugget was winding him up about it all , as he does all the time
Although I'm sure that Patrick might save his bacon .. who knows ?..
I'd have fessed up to the reporter and the school , give her the whole tin of biscuits for her trouble and wrote the real story of the fish canning ' romance ' instead !

I disagree re why the hands were hidden - it's too obvious to be Nish/Ravi at this stage - and the hands were simply hidden so that the viewer didn't get ANY clues either way re the colour of his skin

It's a pity they didn't instead write Lily as the one having a drug induced termination when she was just a few weeks pregnant. Far less traumatic and might have been reassuring for anyone else in Lily's situation.

agreed - plus it would have also been an interesting story to have a baby where the father is HIV+ too

Nope, rather than do the right thing by Lily, they have it in for one of the squares most tragic characters, Whitney :(
She wasn't even in a proper relationship and they threw in HIV too ..
Zac has been good, but he was never dad material tbh , but it would have been good to see how he would have stepped up for Peach especially as his own health isn't great and his in meds now forever.

I found the Denise and Ravi hotel scenes really sleazy, made my skin crawl actually.
I find Ravi quite predatory. I wonder who made the first move in his previous relationship with his dad’s (not-his-dad) wife Nina, I think her name was?

Denzel’s plagiarising off Netflix was some much needed lighthearted relief.

I thought there's the possibility she would want to try for a baby again and Zac will have to explain then. She'll then probably blame him.

I know that "have another one" is not a solution to the lost baby but they were both looking forward to parenthood so I can see it coming up.
