Think it was a bit soon to bring in another DV storyline. We've only just got over Gray.

Nish is going to be bumped off by the end of the year, which is a shame as I thought we'd be getting the Panesars as the new Mitchell's since Phil is close to getting his buss pass and Ben has gone straight (as in no more crime, not the other straight!).

I think the gangsta stuff in EE is ridiculous anyway, but then I quite liked EE back in the bingate/gentrification years when it was trying to be more realistic.

My comment was not a spoiler, just an assumption since characters like that always get their comeuppance. You get the feeling his time is numbered already given he is so unpleasant.

Freddie with the petroleum jelly was hysterical. I suppose they would have to pay to call it Vaseline like everyone else! I like him he’s sweet

I have no idea what Bobby Brazier is like in real life but the character, Freddie, really reminds me of his Mum. That line was a perfect case in point.

I really like him too @EconomyClassRockstar - he's a great addition. Hope he stays around for a while.

I can imagine that Bobby is very similar to the Freddie character tbh ! Just seems kind and funny
It's good to have a fun character around.
As is Felix too, I like his acerbic one liners!

I hope they don't turn Freddie into a person who doesn't know that much all the time though ; a long time ago he said something quite profound ( maybe a quote from a book or a saying , can't remember ) and people were surprised !
He can be astute at times.

I agree that the Panesars being as big as the Mitchells would be good, but unlike Phil , Nish is very unlikable and his control of Suki is awful
I know Phil was never a choir boy , but he does have some redeeming qualities sometimes !Nish doesn't have any.
I am scared that he'll find out about Eve too

I don't think they were ever tee total. I remember Kheerat drinking with his brothers right from the start and Ash definitely did. I was a little surprised as I thought it was against their religion. Google tells me it might depend if they are baptised or not. The Masoods definitely didn't drink.

The masoods were Muslim though who definitely don't drink if they are practising (not the right word) The Panasars are Sikh so I am assuming they are allowed to drink.

They never ( or rarely ) do the right thing on EE !

I do hate to be a negative Nelly but when you consider the bbc made Happy Valley and Line of Duty the portrayal of Walford Nic and Jack/Callum/CID is an embarrassment
