Looking forward to catching up on tonight's ep! What was it again? A children's cartoon?

I have to say that I would adore a shopping channel task but it doesn’t look like this series.

I’m not at all keen on horlicks maireas but I feel as though I ought to make an effort given my advancing years.

I’d be feart the sound of my cooking would be taken for a death rattle.

There was one when they worked in a laundry, that was good but not in this series

Another task I seem to remember was starting a business , landscaping or such like

I think that this series could be the last unless the format is changed back to a true business model . There are plenty of (better) reality shows around for those who need their fix of fakery.

I still like it. I don’t really watch other popular stuff though eg don’t bother with Strictly etc

This series has been particularly bad.

Just very formulaic.

Create a product.
Brand for products.

Dont let teams talk so it's a botch up
And give them very limited time.

Pitch product while half do useless consumer research that cant be used to improve the product.

Pitch product again.

Yes, it's the only reality programme I bother with. Someone made a good point on the last thread re. 'You're Fired' - originally presented by Adrian Chiles, a fairly serious presenter; over the years the presenters have become more and more farcical, and that mirrors the tone of the show.

Such a shit series. Worst yet.

All the candidates are as bad, some are just marginally less crap.

The production then set the inept bunch up to fail, which they think makes good TV, but it's just samey, and there's no decent people to root for.

They need a complete rehaul and some candidates with actual business acumen, but no respectable person would bother going on the show as it's turned into Sugar's Love Island

They should just rename You’re Fired as The Tom Allen Show.

They also spend too much time catering for the “comedians” on the panel (very few of whom I actually find amusing) and not enough time with the other contestants.

I watched last night and have now wasted spent half an hour catching up with the comments here!!
Gosh it was horrific but

• If they are creating a high end or even mid range product, why are they creating such cheapo clunky looking plastic packaging? The snake bottle looked like a kids water bottle from poundland! No face cream or products come in anything that heavy/chunky- except maybe a small glass pot.

• Why are they essentially left to their own devices to create a skin care product? Surely they could have had a colourless/odourless "base" product that they could then add fragrance or a modest amount of colour to? Its obviously fiction anyway when they "place orders" but who on earth would order products from a start up with no experience or credentials in skincare?

*Agree they think over 50s = in a care home. And wtf is the obsession with men over 50 needing or wanting ornaments? And Dani said it was the type of thing she imagined at her grandparents house. I know she's young but she must be able to do the maths that most likely her parents might be 50ish, but her GPS must surely be 70s or 80s.

• I thought Simba and Megan seemed sensible and created something reasonable and Tim criticised it for being a) white and b) boring - well look how the non white/non boring one turned out...! (And tbh most moisturisers are white/bland and boring!)

So who is the predicted ur fired ?

I'm curious to know what other people think too!! I reckon it could be absolutely any of them this time, just a small mistake could send them off...but I'm putting my bets on Victoria or Dani perhaps. I LOVE Megan and Simba, don't want to see them going off.
