Has anyone else been watching today? I've watched 4 episodes so far. Dated, but loving it

Who'd have thought Roger was hiding that body under his suit?!

Did anyone else notice Barry call his female guest Val to Sheila before they knew she wasn't really Chinese?

What on earth was going on in that bizarre episode with Alan getting Val to dress up in a Suzy Wong-style dress, taking Polaroids of her and then springing out in a loin cloth and 'comedy' moustache? And then chasing Val and Paul around his garden? One of those episodes where you watch it and think 'no way would that be made today'.......

I agree. So weird.
But then pretty much everything Alan does is strange.

Wtf have they done to the episodes?? They've put them in series and there's no way of keeping up with where you left off 😭

I see what you mean! I watch it on the app on my smart tv and it has the option to continue watching and it started on episode 45 "bird droppings"! Seems to be right I think but I was on episode 90 or something last week. Wouldn't have had a clue otherwise

Does anyone know if the next 5 episode have been released? I can only find up to episode 90 where Heather gate crashed the drinks in the pub.

This is what I meant! They've done something weird to it. So they've split it into 3 series. You need Series 2 episode 45 called Bird Droppings, and onwards. No idea why they've messed with it!

my samsung tv is only now showing series 1 on the stv built into the tv. I'm way past that on around about episode 80 so cannot continue watching. was hoping to have an afternoon of binge watching ffs.

I'm a few episodes behind, but it's so funny to look at how easy it was to fly. Liverpool airport really was like that where you could stand outside and wave them off!

My tv has gone back to just showing episodes again, not seasons.

from 84 or 83. In 86 a new terminal opened. The old art
deco one is now a hotel but there was a public viewing gallery which is where Lucy’s dad and brother waved them off from.

I watched the airport episode last night I think it was episode 88 and I think it was August 1983. 1983 was the 50th anniversary of Liverpool Airport. was lovely to see everyone waving people off from the balcony.

I'm confused because I thought that Harry cross lived in the bungalow? I think I'm getting muddled with grumpy characters and Mrs Mangle in Neighbours

@NCTDN I remember grumpy old Harry Cross I think he must've moved in the bungalow after Alan moved out because I don't remember Alan at all, mind you I was only 5 in 1983. I think Harry Cross came a couple of years later. I did see the actor that played Harry Cross appear as an extra in a very early episode.

Has anyone watched past episode 100? my stv player through now tv only goes upto episode 100 so I've got to wait now until more are added. Harry Cross has made an appearance wondering which house he'd going to move into though as I'm sure I remember him living in the bungalow.
loving the 1980s decor in the houses takes me back to my childhood makes me want to decorate my house in an 80s style!!

Maybe Harry cross waited and bought the bungalow later? I know that where I thought he lived.

In the last episodes I didn't recognise Roger. I don't like men with beards but I actually think he looked better!

yes I noticed the burgundy bath too 🤣. and I also thought Rodger looks better with his beard too. 80s moustaches seemed to make men look much older than they actually were infact everyone looks much older than they actually are. I don't like the grants new furniture covers preferred the furniture as it was without them. I think I remember my neighbours having the same 3 piece suite.

He does look hugely better with the full beard, and I’m not a fan of beards either!

Great to see Harry Cross and Charlie from Casualty too.
