I thought the same. I thought James Atthur before but definitely didn't sound like him tonight. Also the way he acts is a bit 'cheesier' than I think JA would he.

Fairly sure Rylan can't sing well enough to be Phoenix.

If Jellyfish is Amber Riley then she is disguising her voice a fair bit or maybe the costume means she sounds different. (Ehich is obviously the point lol) Amber has a huge voice and Jellyfish doesnt sound the same style, but the clues are pointing to her.

Hi all. Was behind tonight so just finished watching it. Dh was saying Gemma Collins for pigeon. I had no idea.

Sticking with David Tennant for phoenix and James Arthur for rhino.

Phoenix is definitely Ricky Wilson. War of the Worlds theme sealed for me a couple of weeks ago. Rylan - lovely guy, great personality but he just can't sing!

Otter - first week, I thought it was Kate Bush and her family is Irish but now I am less convinced. Tonight I thought it was possibly Jennifer Saunders.
Jellyfish sounds like Beverley Knight.
Rhino - I don't know what Charlie Simpson sounds like. I don't think it's James Arthur as I always get the impression that he considers himself too seriously to get involved in something for fun.
Jacket Spud - hope it is JBJ
Fawn - no idea but I would say a young voice possibly under 30.

Just finished watching it on catchup. The 2 I am 100% on both got guessed today so that probably means they will go soon otherwise it is not very interesting is it?

And yes to Slippery When Wet...it has to be JBJ 🙏🤞 although I don't get why he keeps getting in the bottom 2 as his voice is so good 😒

Haven't read the whole thread so this may have already been mentioned but one of the clues in Jacket Potato is absolutely linked to Bon Jovi so it has to be Jon Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora. The fundraiser board arrow was at 50...'oh, we're halfway there, oh oh we're living on a prayer'.

Surely that is the clincher clue??

In the clues tonight tho there was a comment about being a foil to someone - so surely it's richie sambora?

Rhino is not James Arthur. It's definitely Charlie Simpson!!

My 100% certainties are:
Rhino = Charlie Simpson- been a Busted fan since I was a teenager and enjoy their newer albums too. I know his voice anywhere.

Jellyfish = Amber Riley- remember her voice from the Glee days.

Knitting = Claire from Steps but only because of the obvious clues.

Any theories on Phoenix? I keep thinking Michael Sheen but I don’t know why. Also no clue who Otter is. Fawn is possibly Nicole Applegate. I think Jacket Potato is Shane Richie or Bradley Walsh.

Massively shocked and impressed that pigeon was Katherine Ryan- I listen to her podcast weekly and thought she would have been too busy on tour/pregnant to do the show. Loved the genuine surprise I felt!

@Hoppyhops phoenix is Ricky Wilson. I have seen him live numerous times and would know that voice anywhere.

Art - before he found fame he was an art teacher
He was in war of the worlds on stage
The mystery clues - he did a podcast called myths and legends.

Add to that it's a million percent his voice lol

In one of the clips he's stood by a tap and a length of plastic - Slippery when wet. Then halfway there .

Have gone down a Bon Jovi rabbit hole...you know in the first clue package, JP was putting notes into a jar with rude names on Stinky Butt (not exactly that but can't remember what they were) - they are bad names so fits with You Give Love A Bad Name 🤷‍♀️

I wish the clues weren't so bad! I think you can only really make a stab from listening to the singing.

Also they are in danger of hyping up the contestants with guesses from panel etc going "is it Camilla Parker Bowles?" "Is it Joe Biden?" "Is it Meryl Streep?" And then it's someone who was in Glee. Or you're disappointed that it isn't Shane Ritchie!

I'm finding it hard to get on board with Ricky Wilson. I thought he was a better singer than that.
