Not to mention the fact it's pitch black outside when they answer the call but broad daylight when filmed on the way to whatever venue 🤔
I'm pretty sure it's well known it's just done for TV, so they may as well not bother with the farce by now I think!

I read an interview with an ex candidate a few years ago, they said that they shower and do their make up before they go to bed. They iron their clothes and leave them out before they go to sleep. When they get the phone call they just need to get dressed and do their hair. You often see them touching up their make up in the car.

Also... why are they all so thick?

That part really annoys me. What does it achieve, being put under pressure to get ready? So stupid, normal people just set an alarm.

They say the cars will be outside in 20 minutes. It doesn't mean that they have to be ready to leave the house in 20 minutes. It's dark when they make the call but usually daylight when they leave. There are a couple of interviews with former contestants spilling secrets

There was a thread on here once from someone in the know, and they don't have to be ready to get into the cars as soon as they arrive. The camera operators are messing round for ages.

I read somewhere that the cars arrive in 20 minutes but the don't get into the cars until much later.

I've always wondered, if it's a competition, why the person who answers the phone tells the others. Surely the best strategy would be to slip out of the house, do the task solo and win?

Although it's so obvious that the tasks mean nothing, sugar has already decided which business plan he wants to exploit, so the whole thing is engineered around that. Much preferred it when they became an actual apprentice.

Funny how all the best female business minds in the UK are between 20 and 35, wear pastel pencil dresses, a crap load of lip filler and 4-5 inch heels every time they leave the house 🤔

I would like to know why it takes lord sugar so long and so many pointless tasks to decide which idea to invest in, when the ones on dragons den can do it with a 5 minutes chat.

I don't know who does the styling for this show but it seems so outdated. The women often look fake, overly made up in body form dresses. There's little individuality. Its like some 1980's cliche of what a business woman should look like.
The whole premis of unconscious money making is also outdated. The format needs a revamp.

It makes better TV than intelligent and reasonable.

Why can’t they use a calculator when topping up ingredient costs etc. literally everyone has access to a calculator these days.
