Thread Two for jovial discussions and guesses!

As per previous thread, and guesses or I told you sos (I am preparing myself for Rubbish demasking!!) are welcome.

Please avoid sharing any heavy hints garnered from social media. A few identities have been leaked that way , especially on the US version.

Once the show has finished airing on ITV, discussion of demasked 'celebrity' is allowed and this does not constitute a spoiler.

We all (ahem, nearly) guessed Lulu. Let's hope we have heard of the rest!!

I've just listened to that. JP is definitely NOT JBJ.

If it was JBJ, that would be awesome! And would definitely fit the billing of a 'huge superstar' that keeps getting mentioned. As it is, I am getting the feeling of that statement either being a slight exaggeration or was about Lulu 😁

And @Piggywaspushed - well done on spotting the snooker clues 🙂 I was absolutely convinced it was Steve Davis until he was unmasked...particularly as he had done My Old Man's A Dustbin with an Essex accent 🙈

Just listened to jbj and jacket potato sing hallelujah back to back.

If jacket potato is jbj I will eat only jacket potatos for the rest of my life.

Listened to Richie sambora as well and it could be him though. Bit boring once you've considered the possibility of JBJ being on masked singer but I guess we take what we can get.

Yes I think it's more likely to be Ritchie Sambora but as we were promised a big star I wouldn't be surprised if Pootle was right and it is Jon. Not being disrespectful to Ritchie but obviously Jon is more wider known.
I didn't know this weeks star but I'm not a snooker fan so he could have been the big star

It's Jon who has the link to being married at Graceland chapel. There's a sign outside advertising the fact.

One of the lyrics in Hallelujah is 'she broke your throne and she cut your hair' It was massive news when JBJ cut his hair.

There was a clue about being a devil but also an angel. The lyric in JBJ's Blaze of Glory song goes 'I'm a devil on the run'

He also made a solo record entitled Kidnap an Angel

Jack is a derivative / alternative name for John / Jon.

In regards to Peter Kay, Joel McD sounded like he was saying "Peter Kay" whenever he mentioned "Piece of Cake" in Week 1...

If you listen to Jon singing Hallelujah then JP's version sounds like a very poor imitation.

It's like an escape to a crazy world of fluffiness and rainbows. Just what we all need given the stark reality of life!!

The US version has had proper proper megastars on it and very famous public figures. JBJ may have thought our version was equally illustrious...

I agree @RainbowZebraWarrior ....time will tell ! My husband wasn't looking at the screen and just said 'that's Jon bon jovi'.
