Firefly Lane - boring!

I’ve really tried to get into this, I’m on season two but it’s so bloody boring! All the stupid break up/back together stuff between Kate and Johnny, the constant flashbacks to Tully doing telly stuff …

The only interesting thing that has happened is the car crash and I’ve then it keeps cutting back to past events - don’t care about the past now, it’s irrelevant - just concentrate on the car crash onwards for gods sake

I agree! Season 2 was just about me forwarding the past events really. Glad it's over to be honest.

I agree. I started season 2 but couldn’t get past the first episode. Enjoyed season 1 much more.

It's awful! I love so many of the actors so gave it a try. Bored rigid by halfway through series 1. I just don't understand what anyone likes about it

They’ve released new episodes and I’m watching, I’ve read the book and it’s fairly similar but my goodness they are dragging it out!

I agree…I did like season one. Found season two part one boring but got through it. …not sure I am even going to go to season two part two.

Loved the actors as well. Loved the idea at the start…

I've just finished part two of season two. I enjoyed it, although it was a bit slow in parts.

I didn’t realise there were new episodes so I binged watched them last night and this morning. Sobbed at the end - haven’t cried at a film or tv series in years! I guess we’re all different and like different things.

I thought the new episodes were all boring!! So much filler and going over and over stuff we already know. We get it, you found breastfeeding hard. I liked a lot of the actors in it but they were given a shit laborious script. The young Tully is sure to be a huge star though.

I’m amazed at how much the young actors look like their older versions. Don’t get me wrong I am enjoying it and will see it through to the end but I do think it the story could have been told in two series of six episodes. The book made me weep, I’m not at the end of the tv series yet but getting ready to use a lot of tissues!

I enjoyed it too. I thought the slow pace paid off in the final episode and especially in the moving final scene.

I’ve just finished watching the second half of season two - I really enjoyed the first season but I was so bored in this season and found so many moments too cringy. There were just too many big speeches and everything was so slow and drawn out. Disappointing

I've just binged the last 5 episodes - their fight annoyed me & Kate seemed such a bitch to Tully but then I absolutely loved it!

I'm just watching this. Not finished season 2 yet. Very much enjoyed it at the start but definitely can feel myself getting agitated at all the
Scooby doos. Back and forth, back and forth. It feels a lot like "this is us" in that respect.

I'm stuck with it until finished but meh

I enjoyed it, wasn't anything groundbreaking. But it was fun, and sometimes devastating

Loved it, I sobbed & sobbed!

It wasn't a high intensity, edge of your seat drama, but I liked the ease of it. Many flaws and plot holes but generally just a watchable show that drew me in.

yes boring, I gave up a few episodes into season one, and it didn't help that I don't really like katherine heigl. Never did. She just doesn't come across as likeable even as a child / teen actress.

I honestly can't understand all the love for it among people i know. I found it dreadful and gave up after a few episodes, and I usually watch any old shit!
