What if he got killed and Faith found out so thought it best not to mention him at all not knowing Cain already knew. Cain never heard from him since so would be unaware thus leaving this imposter Caleb who probably knew the original Caleb to make his move.

Plus Paul from Corrie and Aaron are basically twins

Liking the new theories around Caleb. Something definitely amiss with him but would Cain not have realised he is an imposter? They haven’t seen each other for about 30 odd years but surely he’d know.
Maybe this guy is related to the real Caleb so looks like him🤔 We’ve already had the long lost relative and revenge storyline with Nate so hope it’s not that again.

Just can’t work out why Faith wouldn’t have mentioned him even on her deathbed and so agree she must thought the real Caleb died a long time ago.

Cain only met him briefly and people change a lot in 39 years plus he didn't realise Nate was his own son!

I wonder if Gordon abused Caleb as well. Cain was recently ranting to Moira about the fact he tried to save Chas from one monster (Shadrach) and then left her with another (Gordon). There must be a reason his name was mentioned. The scriptwriters usually bring up a reminder about an absent/dead character when they plan to reintroduce a SL about them.

See it's the eyes that set me off on this trail. Why have grown up Caleb with Livesy blue eyes? If there's one thing Emmerdale excel at it's casting. They wouldn't make a mistake with eye colour.

So he could be something to do with this Gordon? Birth certificate could be a forge. I also thought it weird he was carrying it with him, like he expected to be asked for proof. I might be clutching at straws though, I don't want to believe faith kept this secret.
