So I am rewatching the previous seasons in anticipation. I have also hot DH addicted.

Anyone else excited?

I've read that the French abhor EiP as it stereotypes everything to a crazy extent. If they ever did Emily in London it would probably have been similarly absurd to watch as a Brit. Obviously if you can't take it as escapism then it's a shit show. Cultural pride aside, apparently every high end French brand is fighting to get a mention.

I haven't watched the whole series yet, but the costumes (actually mainly just Emily's outfits) are hilariously OTT. At one point she appears to be dressed as a flamingo?

I want to say how hot the men are in the show - I would love to borrow Gabriel’s pan for a night!! Sylvie’s husband is also a looker in a brooding French way.

I really like the French being spoken more in the show and I think that was a criticism from the first season that I am glad they changed.

Q: Is it just me who fastforwards through every single scene with Mindy singing? 🙉

Ha ha no its not just you. I find her warbling incredibly annoying. Apparently it's her real voice and while it's not a bad voice I find it a bit whiny.

Just watched the whole 3 series after my daughter got me hooked halfway through s2! Its just all so unbelievable - where does Emily get her clothes? Is she given them as an 'influencer'? Love the PP comment about her Flamingo dress

Jist finished it today. Loved it, brilliant cliff hanger, daft love triangles beautiful scenery pure escapism. Love it. I enjoyed sylvie getting more storylines 😊

Watched the lot on Boxing Day! Luc is still my favourite, Nico gave me awful vibes.

Camille obviously hasn't come clean about Sofia, the pregnancy is the least of Gabriel's worries!

Also... poor Alfie. Gabriel was obviously happy to marry Camille (he brought the wedding forward and went through his vows quite eagerly) if she hadn't have called it off they'd have gone off married. Emily made all the noises, wanted to meet Alfie's family etc and didn't put up any sort of fight for him at all when it came down to it.

I’ve blasted through the series in a day, it’s silly escapism and I love it. I was rooting for Alfie though. He is HOT. Gabriel is a bit of a drip in my opinion. I love Sylvie and her unapologetic sexualness. Luc is just brilliant.

I love that Sylvie got back with her ex husband, the lavender scene was BRILLIANT!

I volunteer as tribute to help Alfie get over his heartbreak 😂

Also just posted on another thread! Finished it now, Gabriel is such a wet blanket now. Totally bored of him. Didn’t like Alfie much before but he was better in s3.

Gabriel definitely wasn't on form this series, something lacking. The clothes were crazy apart from one of Mindy's outfits I loved loved the one with the chambray top and the sequinned skirt with faces on...total escapism and fiction though...just what we need..it's a yes from me!

So glad Alfie is hopefully out of the picture, couldn’t stand him.

His acting was definitely dubious, easy on the eye though so perfect for the series

Someone mentioned about the lack of chemistry. Completely agree. Camille and Gabriel have absolutely none.
Alfie doesn't seem to fit the role at all, just feels odd.
Sylvie is absolutely brilliant. Some of the outfits don't flatter her though. I've always felt if you don't have much of a cleavage, don't shout about it.

Gabriel is hot, but a bit flat. Almost boring.

I quite like Mindy.

But it’s true! And what I find more concerning is the fact it’s so normalised… it’s really not normal. And not ok considering how dangerous it is as an illness. It’s messed up.
I didn’t think she looked as unwell as season 2 but only because her outfits covered her more.

I started off cringing the whole time and wondering why on earth I was watching it. As I can’t stand any of them! And Alfie was awful. Maybe it’s because he’s British it’s worse.

But surprisingly Alfie grew on my by the end. I lost so much respect for Gabriel for going off with Camille again and proposing when he had no interest in her before.

I don’t think it’s Gabriel’s baby.

Who else's would it be then? She was only with Sophia other than Gabriel, wasnt she?

I think she might not even really be pregnant at all and it's just part of her mother's plan to get Gabriel to marry Camille!
