I think Fay will suss out Amanda first,
They spend a lot of time chatting alone.

If I was Amanda I'd off her quickly.

Adultchildofelderlyparents · 16/12/2022 00:04

Thanks for the new thread!

Maddy should have taken the cash. She's stood at the table as the least trusted person, and she must know people are sharpening the knives after her acting admission. Silly woman. She could have left £3K better off.

Can't wait for tomorrow. When they find out the murder took place in the party it'll be so interesting watching them try to analyse who did what.

I'm wondering how/whether a second series of this will work as well. When new contestants have seen this series and know the set up. They will asses situations very differently next time I think.

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/12/2022 00:19

They'd better not have killed Andrea.

I'm convinced she used to work for MI5.

Maddy, Keiron and Rayan are al on Twitter

So are quite a few of them. Rayan is hilarious.

Poor Alex, no one gave a shit that she'd gone 😁

Really weird of Maddie to decide to reveal NOW that she's an actor, just before a dinner party task that asks who is the least trusted. And to think it's a good idea. !! She started with I've been in eastenders and casualty, and then later played it down by saying I haven't worked for 8 months 🙄 I don't have any sympathy for her, purely because of the nasty way she spoke to Aaron several times when accusing him. And she's very snide towards Meryl too, she has a really nasty streak.

MissMarpleRocks · 16/12/2022 08:04

Amanda is my favourite. We are all rooting (?) for her at chez Miss Marple

lljkk · 16/12/2022 08:09

I'm sure the participants were all recruited for believing in their ability to discern truth & lies, dected liars & be able to lie. They are bossy about their people skills (in the edits we see).

What puzzles me is how they are very keen to vote someone out one day & next day all "Of course you're a faithful!" I know the editing makes parts confusing, but it's weird how their moods with each other fluctuate.

Is Aaron on Twitter? I can't find him ?

I think they knew her card was marked. They all believed her when she said she'd been approached and had refused, so they were never going to banish her. I expect their feelings were still complicated by the fact she'd tried to keep her relationship with Tom a secret.

It's so interesting how the Faithful are now prioritising their need to be seen as Faithful above anything else. I think that's why Maddy didn't take the money. £3k isn't much considering the size of the pot that's still left to win so it isn't screwing the team over.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 15/12/2022 23:10

I've just caught up because of all the scheduling mess about.

I'm more than ready for both Maddy and Will to go

Increasingly, Maddy reminds me of Philomena Cunk

We were just saying that about Maddy tonight!! She's got that kind of deadpan comedian thing going on!

ratmatazz · 16/12/2022 10:01

They're all thick. If maddie was a traitor she would have chosen to stay and not take the money, so why the hell are they all saying she's "proven" she's a faithful? I mean, she's an idiot for not taking it but that's a separate matter.

Wil has fucked it by not choosing Hannah. She was his greatest ally and now she isn't.

Samcro · 16/12/2022 10:04

I don't care who wins as long as its not Wilf, his exaggerated touching his face all the time is so annoying.

Dotellhimpike · 16/12/2022 10:05

Great call @EineReiseDurchDieZeit on the Maddy = Philomena Cunk, once you see it you can't unsee it.

I am surprised at how much Aaron has grown on me this last episode, from out of nowhere he just seems to be one of the nicest and most together of them all. Wilf is totally bottling it but lucky for him Theo is way ahead of him in the overdramatic stakes.

And how can you not fall in love with Andrea? she is so genuinely happy to be there with them all.

Autumnnewname · 16/12/2022 10:17

Can't wait for the next episode

I think Andrea will be the one murdered.

He was worried that showing a strong alliance between the two of them would make it look like they were traitors. Which is ironic, given what he did to Alyssa.

I don't think it would have looked very suspicious at this stage...if she were a traitor, they'd have shown signs before now. But the problem is that everything anyone does could be sincere, a bluff, a double bluff or a triple bluff (by which point I can no longer even understand it). No matter what the action, both Traitors and Faithfuls will have a reason for doing it. Meanwhile, the group is bonding like mad. It must be such a headfuck. We know Andrea's lovely speech last night was sincere....but how good would that have been for her if she were a Traitor?

They're really internalising their roles and getting genuinely invested. Luckily, from Twitter etc, they seem to have got a bit of distance since filming and hopefully the Faithful have forgiven the Traitors by now. It is a game, after all...and the Traitors could have been anyone, plus they had to hide who they were. Those were the rules!

ReneBumsWombats · 16/12/2022 10:25

Alliances actually seem to make people trust you. The Faithful didn't penalise Alex or Amos when they found out she'd confided in him about being approached by the Traitors. If anything, I think it made them trust them both more.

It's the alliances they didn't know about, like Tom and Alex, that put them on edge.

scotsbud · 16/12/2022 10:30

I wonder if any of them will work out that the last one into breakfast every morning cannot be a traitor, if they;d watched the australian series before they went in they would realise this flaw in the procedures too

Ivan was saying that on Twitter. He says none of then twigged this time, but obviously they'll now need to switch it up for any future series.

I expect they'll do that in reality but edit it so that the viewers still see the hitlist people last.

Adultchildofelderlyparents · 16/12/2022 10:37

@scotsbud This is the sort of thing I meant when I posted about how a second series would work. Contestants in a new series will know that format. Things will be easier to work out next time.

Why can the last one in not be a traitor?

This is who Maddy reminds me of 🙂

Dotellhimpike · 16/12/2022 10:52

Why can the last one in not be a traitor?

Because the viewing public know who the traitors are so if one of them is in the last two to arrive, they already know before they walk in the door, there is no element of surprise for the viewer.

scotsbud · 16/12/2022 10:53

@Twonewcats the episodes end with the traitors discussing two potential faithful murder victims. the next episode starts with the last one into the breakfast room one of the two faithfuls discussed the other is murdered

WWGDD · 16/12/2022 10:55

Amanda was once the last to breakfast but it was the first time there was no murder the night before.
