I'm not the biggest fan if the whole Mitchell empire thing. The actor plays Phil well but the character itself is very boring and one dimensional. It's all a bit tired now. The only thing that would sort it out is bringing back Grant.

Hello all, not been here in a while but actually watching nightly ready for the big weekends.

The pic of Janine is her dumping her blood stained clothes from the car crash with Linda whilst she was driving. Scarlet figured out from the pic (goodness knows how) and Janine confessed to her. I don't really see how Janine taking the bins out is going to help anyone else figure it out, but I hadn't realised it was Frankie's birthday so the date might be obvious to some.

Can't wait for it all to unravel!

Just have to say I love Rocky. He's exactly what I want in a soap character.

The wedding felt very rushed for an Eastenders wedding, disappointing.
And the Rag n Bone Man thing was just a bizarrely shoehorned in cameo.
I really hope they are saving the good stuff for Sunday and Monday.

The wedding was farcical with all the interruptions and Mick breaking off mid-vows to gush to Janine about how she was his future etc

Janine is so awful to Scarlett; surely that if nothing else would put Mick right off. She can't hide her nastiness that well!

Love Ricky and Sam back together. She's been going for all the bad 'uns and it's like she's suddenly thought sod it, I can't be bothered with all that any more.

Rag n Bone Man's carol was beautiful but that whole scene was utterly random! Maybe he's an Eastenders fan and was just very keen to do an appearance but it felt very out of place

Re the thing with Kheerat, is he in jail in EE? i.e is Stacey behaving as if he'll be out soon? Or do they know he won't come back yet?

Stacey knows Kheerat has confessed to murdering Ranveer to protect his mum so she should be aware he's not coming back! But she seems to have completely forgotten him!

Where have Mick and Janine suddenly got the money from to BUY another pub? And in Islington no less! It's not like Linda has bought Mick's share, or anyone else for that matter. Also, surely they would discuss this with Shirley first, as what will happen to her?

About the wedding, fair enough Mick's children with Linda didn't want to come. But what was Frankie's excuse? Very few people were actually there it seemed, considering what a long time Walford legend Mick is supposedly. Where was Ollie? Linda was working. Shirley and Mick were at the wedding. Ridiculous imho!

Eastenders loves a rags to riches story ... reminds me of Denise collapsing with hunger and using a food bank one minute and drinking wine in the Vic and ordering endless take out coffees from the caf the next..

I know it's only tv but a tad more consistency and authenticity wouldn't go amiss. Made me chuckle when Karen remembered she has 2 boys living with their dad. She's so all over her family most of the time but it's like they'd been airbrushed out and conveniently mentioned as it's Christmas. Ditto with Scarlett's pony.

Given Janine had to scam £50k from Zac and Nancy in order to pay Linda, where has she got the money to buy a "classy" pub in Islington? I mean, no one would give her a mortgage.
