have put it on autoview, just need to remember it's on. someone told me that there are only a few episodes to see, then it stops again due to the writers strike, not sure if that's true or not

Yep, there are only 8 eps, due as LK said to the writers strike.

Ok, here's what I think. They goback in 2 groups. Hurley etc go back to 'real life' the others (small o) inc Jack/Kate etc return to some sort of parallel universe?

I missed a few minutes at the beginning. Hurley was at the cop shop and he sees someone swimming towards him through a window then the glass smashes and...my cable goes down. Next thing he's on the island jumping into the water and Desmond comes along and tells them Charlie's dead. What happened in between?????
