Happy Valley series 3 to be shown at Christmas?

Does anyone have more info about this, ie the actual date it starts.

I'm planning to re watch series 1 & 2 and dont want to find myself like I did in the run up to the last series of Spiral having to watch 2 or 3 episodes a day to be ready in time!

I was actually a little disappointed by the first episode of S3, it was nowhere as good as the first episodes of the other 2 seasons, maybe it will get better with time, I hope it does.
