@the80sweregreat Helen hasn’t been in the dance off. I thought she might have been in danger the week before last, but no. No DO for Hamza , Will or Helen. Molly and Fleur have taken them all 😆

Helen, Hamza and Will in the final I think. Molly and Fleur not as popular with the public. Helen remains my favourite.

Fleur and Molly will be in the DO this week I bet

Both Fleur and Molly have the Paso Doble this week as one of their dances.

Will it be a Paso heavy show this Sunday as neither Will nor Hamza have done it either? If so, it will make a very interesting dance off if they were to perform the same style dance.

Helen hasn't done Argentine Tango or Rumba yet, so I reckon she'll dance at least one of those.

Helen was ITT tonight. She and Gorka will be doing the Argentine Tango and Waltz.

Ah thanks Cordelia. Haven't seen it yet, so I'll go and catch up. I think the AT will suit her but Craig is extremely picky with AT. He could either award you a 9 if it's brilliant or a 5 if there's a lack of leg reaction.

I'm not convinced that the AT is a good dance for Helen but she'll make up for it with the waltz. Of course, I could be wrong and she might pull off a really good AT.

I'm looking forward to finding out what Hamza and Will are doing.

If Friday's performance was anything to go by, I reckon Helen will capitalise on the newfound sexy image and carry that over to the AT.

I think I get where Craig is coming from with the AT though, it will either be brilliant or absolutely disappointing.

Cameron is very good. The trouble is that he's quite short, so if they ever give him a partner it will have to be someone very petite.

Good show generally this week, I thought.
Molly I found a bit under-confident; was clearly watching a different dance to the judges!
Hamza was gorgeous. A difficult song for a samba, but they got the mood and it felt like a fully rounded performance: the dance, the emotion, costumes, music (I didn't think the band murdered it at all!) and great lighting. I could imagine watching it in the West End. I loved how they got some proper emotion into a carnival dance.
Nancy looked beautiful as ever. I thought they had a tough job to sell such a quiet, tender dance after Hamza's, and they did it very well. Just can't get on board with Will and his 'ooh look at me, everybloke, I'm crying, what am I like' thing.
Kym looked stunning. I thought she came to life in that dance and talking about it afterwards. It clearly touched something in her. She and Graz are lovely together and seem to adore each other. I've really warmed to him this year. Overall though, I think she was the weakest dancer and it was OK that she went.
Helen was better towards the end. I think she was nervous about that press-up bit at the start; she was fumbling for her hold on Gorka's back. I liked it as a fuck-you to her ex. It kind of was a series of poses, but that's the style; as Craig said, each move should look like a picture ie a freeze-frame. I do agree with Craig too that she could have been slightly stronger in the core and longer in the lines. Compare and contrast to Liza doing that number (although I know it's a bit unfair to compare anyone with Liza really...)
Fleur was unlucky having to follow that, I thought. I'd rather they'd put her on first and Helen to close. But it was a lovely routine, really classy. I know all the fuss is about her Latin and freestyle, but I think she's a beautiful ballroom dancer. Vito is so sweet. Loved his face when they said they had a video of him singing

I think the right people have ended up in the semifinal. Very much looking forward to Hamza's Charleston.

Would be brill to see a number of them do the same dance . . . just like the Good Old Days of Strictly.

I think it hardly matters what Fleur and Molly do. They won't be able to save themselves from the DO.

Glad Hamza is doing a waltz. I've loved his ballroom dances.

As the show was on Friday last week doesn’t that mean they’ve got an extra day to learn their dances this week, or is it on Friday again? (I’m not interested in the football…)

Ah, so 2 extra days then! That’ll help with the 2 dances, but flip side is less time to prepare next week…

I think Fleur and Vito will smash both. They've got two good songs.
Helen and Gorka's Argentine Tango could well be spine-tingling; GREAT song for it. I suspect the waltz will be anodyne.

Molly and Carlos won't nail the paso IMO, but the American Smooth will be good.

Hamza and Jowita will nail both.

I'm DREADING Will's couple's choice. My toes are curling at the thought of it. His paso will be a masterclass in Joey Tribbiani smell-the-fart acting.

Fleur's tune for the Charleston "Tu Vuo Fa L'Americano" by Fiorello is a brilliant song which featured in one of my favourite movies of all time "The Talented Mr Ripley" .

I hope they bring the sass!

I really don't get the Hamza love, he is a lovely bloke but his dancing is not great. Jowita moves around him a lot.

That's what this song evokes for me too; great film, wonderful scene. I wonder if they'll be in 50s costume?
