@Aquarius1234 if you missed it - as did I and I imagine most others - who's to say he was actually doing it? Just because Mike said so?

It was shown on the TV as clear as day.

Ramble0n · 27/11/2022 14:20

'Im just enjoying watching all the frothing regardless of who wins!'

Yes the Mike frothing is very funny.

bluebell34567 · 27/11/2022 14:29

Not sure if there was a video but there were several photos in the Daily Mail, he went up behind and grabbed her, obviously she wasn't expecting it and looked very off balance, hand just happened to land on breast, could have been accidental but nothing was mentioned about that just the rugby tackle aspect of it, can't remember if it was called 'playful' or words to that effect

I just can't get this number thing 😂 Mike interpreted it as showing his number - I saw it as him marking his seat 🤷‍♀️ So not really clear as day, is it

He was folding, I think, a sweatshirt, very carefully like Marie Kondo would and sat it there with the number showing, it looked to me like he was showing the number because of the careful folding, it was quite obvious.

I voted Remain and am extremely embittered about Brexit. I'm also staunchly anti-Tory because the ideology doesn't match mine. DH has had long Covid for 9 months having caught it at work as teachers were thrown to the wolves and given no protections. He's a few months of being on long term sick with no pay and being up shit creek. So I spend most of my days angry and frothing at the state of things at the moment.

I'm very grateful that this doesn't extend to I'm a Celebrity and I've been able to enjoy some escapism and been able to watch most of it without getting my knickers in a twist. I'm fairly neutral about MH. I won't vote for him because Jill has been getting my votes since the beginning. But I have watched him in the background with interest.

I've had to mute MH on Twitter because the lecturing has become tedious. God forbid that people be able to watch a TV show and make up their own minds!

CatLoaf · 27/11/2022 15:02

Marie Kondo style, fabulous. I'll need to watch again

HappyHamsters · 27/11/2022 15:05

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/11/2022 13:59

Very childish and dangerous , Princess Anne must be very proud of him, she is the Patron of Spinal Injuries UK.

Strong like for this post. I especially hate the lecturing.

I’m a celebrity has been on for 20 years now, on ITV at prime time viewing. There must be an audience for it to survive this long.
Yes it’s the same thing each year but it’s weirdly addictive. It’s escapism. Easy watching.

the80sweregreat · 27/11/2022 15:23

It is a bit of escapism isn't it ?
We all need this ( hence why I watch eastenders too ! )

MarshaMelrose · 27/11/2022 15:27

Maybe it’s because I am older and from the North but it is interesting how everyone’s perceptions are different which led me to The Guardian article I posted above.

I don't know what you being older and from the north has to do with it, though. I'm older and from the north as will be loads of people who have voted for Matt. You don't like him. I'm in my 60s and from Lancashire and I think he's ok.
The Guardian was one of the worst offenders for saying how badly Matt was doing in there and how the public couldn't wait to vote him out because he's hated by everybody. As they got it spectacularly wrong, as they do with so much they write about, they're now trying to make out the viewers are being influenced by tiktok. 🙄 Or even more bizarrely by Matt's PR team. 😂 Because it is beyond their narrow-minded, pre- defined comprehension that people can watch a TV programme and make their own minds up what they think about a person. The Guardian still thinks it's influential in how people think. Bless it.

I think Matt is socially awkward but he doesn't lack empathy. When he and Seann and Mike were doing a trial, Seann was clearly distressed by creepie crawlies and Mike made fun of him but Matt tried to pick them off him to maje him feel better. And even BG, eho didn't like him, said that Matt tried to help people both in the camp and on trials so he couldn't judge him on that.

It's clear from the trials that he listens very carefully to instructions and plans accordingly. There's no evidence at all that he doesn't listen effectively.

Catlady2021 · 27/11/2022 15:28

There wasn’t any really nasty people in it this year. Everyone can have their moment but there’s wasn’t anyone in their thats vile all the time.
People like Lady C. She was vile the whole time. She was a bully and just nasty. She made personal attacks on Tony Hadley, who from what I’ve seen is a nice , chilled bloke.

Just because she’s older and female, thought she could be horrible to anyone.

Also people like Kim Woodburne. Just vile to people. ( Although I can’t remember if she was ever on IACGMOOH)

These people cause drama for the sake of it and I know the producers probably want this but it’s sometimes unpleasant to watch.

Miss03852 · 27/11/2022 15:33

Yes Kim Woodburn was on IACGMOOH, she was awful to Katie Price who largely ignored her

Jenasaurus · 27/11/2022 15:38

Ramble0n · 27/11/2022 12:40

I was laughing at him carefully folding it so the number was on show. 😂

TBF its provided a news story for the papers, and kept us talking so all good

Inkanta · 27/11/2022 15:39

Love the cyclone episode! Watching it again. 😀

Jenasaurus · 27/11/2022 15:39

What has happened to previous winners, do they go on to great things?

user374698 · 27/11/2022 15:41

I bet Jill will get similar stuff to Alex Scott whether she wins or not

MH also bonded with Seann, and said how he bonded with him when he left, he seemed genuinely upset he had left,

the80sweregreat · 27/11/2022 15:42

Lady Colin Campbell was just horrible to everyone. I felt sorry for Tony Hadley as he seemed nice enough ! Good voice too

True and they are bringing back BB so there also must be a market for that too.

the80sweregreat · 27/11/2022 15:44

At least BB is ' normal ' people !
I know they did celeb ones, but it's better it's nobodies that have a chance
