At least Cindy wasn't a 'new head '

NuHeadPeter was as wooden as the gite kitchen table ! I cannot remember him as Peter previously .
The Peter who went on to play Roger Taylor in Bohemian Rhapsody was by far the best Peter.

Bobby is such a wimp , I wanted him to say to Anna Yeah well I killed my sister and for Eve to say to Vinny yeah well I did time for GBH on a bloke twice your size just to shut them up.

The Suki/Eve looks across the pub. Yawn

Gothambutnotahamster · 22/06/2023 23:00

I agree with all your points @70isaLimitNotaTarget

Changechangechanging · 22/06/2023 23:31

So just so I‘m clear……Cindy went to prison and shared a cell with dodgy criminal. At some point must have sobbed in dodgy criminal so went into witness protection. Ian was told she was dead at this point. She met George whilst in witness protection and had two more children. At some point left George suddenly . Presumably to do with witness protection? But George is still aware of where she is and can get hold of her. At some point, Cindy and Ian have met up and rekindled their relationship.

is that it?

Also does anyone remember over lockdown they did those special episodes of Eastenders where they interviewed the cast each week? The one with Adam/Ian and Leticia/Sharon was full of her rolling her eyes at him. He seemed totally full of himself and exactly like his character. I also remember him on celebrity masterchef thinking he was some undiscovered talent and getting booted off at the early stages very upset

He seems like a right bellend

I went right off Adam Woodyatt (before I was neutral) when he apparently left his wife and mother of his two children without any explanation.

With the proviso that this is what I read in the press and may well not exactly be, you know, the complete story.

Gothambutnotahamster · 23/06/2023 00:18

Me too @tobee especially as I heard he also gave up EE so he could reduce his earnings to avoid a larger financial settlement. No idea if that's true, but the timelines all fitted.

Yep.

So Cindy has THREE children she has abandoned - Cindy jr, Gina and Anna. Two dead children Steven & Lucy. And Peter who is a chip off his mother and fathers block. And he's the only one in contact with his mother.

Cindy jr has a daughter Beth and Peter has son Louie Beale with Lauren Branning and Abi Branning jr by Steve and Abi Branning.

This opens up a question for me: when is Max back? He took off with Abi jr and is the father of Linda's daughter Annie - both unresolved storylines really, especially with Cindy back in the picture.

Names inline to be Cufflink man has expanded widely from Phil, Keanu, Nish, Ravi, Mick and Jack in recent weeks with Vinnie, Ian, Peter, George and Max now having to go on the list. It will probably turn out to be Frank Butcher risen from the dead at this rate.

RedToothBrush · 23/06/2023 00:21

Ian and Cindy's second wedding will be quite the party won't it? (It's so going to happen isn't it?)

VivienneDelacroix · 23/06/2023 00:49

So we are supposed to believe that Cindy was offered a reduced sentence deal and witness protection, but she wasn't allowed to take her baby with her? They could have said that both Cindys died during the birth and Little Cindy would have grown up knowing her mum as Rose and not knowing any of the background.
Poor Little Cindy.

They should have been brave enough to let Ian die of the heart attack today. Peter could have persuaded Cindy to go back to Walford. That would have been a good twist: Ian! He's back! ... Oh he's dead, duff duff.

I may be very wrong but I don't think George is aware of Cindys real identities or witness protection or where she is

He seemed genuinely shocked when Phil told him she wasn't who he thought she was. And Cindy/Rose said he often calls her late at night but she never answers. I believed the story he told Linda

But they clearly still love each other so her return will prompt a big love triangle. Hmmm....Ian Beale or George knight? Who would I go for 🤔

Did we figure out that the timing of her leaving George was linked to Lucy's death?

the80sweregreat · 23/06/2023 05:15

The wedding ring said ' Cindy Rose ' so he must have an inkling? George must know something?

I agree. I don't think George knows.

Thats how I thought the episode was going to end actually. With Ian dead!

On im a celebrity his real life character was exactly the same as Ian Beale. There was no difference.

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 08:04

Whattodo112222 · 22/06/2023 20:10

He has a completely new face.

Peter version 4.

I think he's an old head Peter grown up I'm sure it is maybe when the old Lauren was in it.

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 08:31

Yes Adam Woodyat is just Ian Beale hopefully without the scheming 😄 tbf he was young when he started so his acting style will just be his own personality.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/06/2023 08:35

With his spinning bowtie'n'collar and his cufflnk in fake cuffs.............in his birthday suit ? < eye bleach>

I'm still holding out hope for FatBoy not being DeadDead but they'd have to NuHead him so probably best to leave him a rest ..

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 08:38

This is nuhead peter

They kept Lauren a secret.
Wonder if the lure of Walford will entice her back ?

i read she wants to come back (desperately)

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 08:51

Is Jacqueline Jossa still with that horrific Dan Osborne?

Gothambutnotahamster · 23/06/2023 11:20

I'd love Lauren to come back - always liked Jacqueline Jossa so happy to have her return!

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 11:32

I like Lauren be nice to see her return.

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 11:36

I stopped watching for a long time because of some rubbish story line so I missed Lauren being an Alcoholic didn't she have liver issues?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/06/2023 12:12

There was a long story with Lauren and Josh ( who was a Willmott-Brown and they (the family headed up by James WB were trying to buy the Queen Vic and thought going via Lauren they could get to Max who was handling the sales/marketing)

I do remember Lauren having a disasterous relationship with drink .

And Philth having a liver transplant then bouncing back very quickly .

Mrsjayy · 23/06/2023 12:15

Oh I'm maybe getting the Liver thing mixed up. I think the maguire story Is where I dipped in and out is that the same JWB story I remember Lisa Falcnor was his daughter?
