Please NO to Mick drowning. I’ve barely got over Roxy and Ronnie’s great Christmas drowning!

I've only seen a few hints rather than full blown spoilers online about Christmas etc
It's clear though that Mick won't be coming back, but maybe not quite dead either ?

On the main EE thread spoilers are totally forbidden .! Which is hard when it's on i player sometimes ( during the world cup )or you actively seek out spoilers online or in the magazines etc

I think most people on the soap threads have seen spoilers. I don't know if you are on the Corrie one too?
I see people plopping in their 'ideas' about what might happen and say 'not a spoiler just my idea' and I've seen that exact storyline as a spoiler, which I think is a bit unfair!
Best to have two threads, I'm just praying I don't accidentally post a spoiler on the other thread, I would hate to spoil it for people that try so hard to avoid spoilers!

When are they doing Dot's funeral?
Will Sonia inherit the house?

I've just read that Janine is also leaving on Boxing Day!

I haven't watched Corrie since the early 90s !
My friend keeps me up to date and I saw a photo of Gail on a magazine this week and thought how old she looks now.
Please nobody post any spoilers on the main EE threads. It's not fair
I agree that people will write something and them it happens though , it's clear that to avoid any soap news you need to be living under a rock or really not interested at all
For me, EE is pure escapism and I love the characters and been watching since day one
I'm that old!

Not sure if Sonia will get the house as Dot also has relatives in Ireland too.
I saw a photo of a new character coming in it who is something to do with Dot ? Not sure who he is
Dot inherited loads from Dr legg too

I believe that both Mick and Janine are leaving

I did also read that Ricky Butcher comes back to rescue his sister . If your relying on him your in trouble !

I love a little digital spy look now and again but have to be very careful on the main thread.

Few things I can remember from the last time.
Kherrat isn't coming back. The actor decided he wanted to leave.

I heard all the Carter's leave but didn't know any details. Maybe Janine kills them all 😂

Lola dies as the actress wants to do other things. She will have to change her look completely so break the link with the character.

Sadly I haven't seen any rumours that Alfie is leaving

What, even Shirley? It was a bit too sudden Kheerat leaving like that imho 😕

Oh that will be great. I really wish Sue Tully would come back as a one off. I'd love to see Sharon and Chelle back together.
They will have to devote a while episode to Dot surely

I'm not sure they could have Sue Tully back as Michelle because they had that other imposter actress play her years ago !

I feel that Danielle Harold may find it hard to find other jobs as she has played Lola for so long
She's a good actress though and these few weeks will be tough to watch

Was Ricky Butcher in it recently or am I mixing up my modern vs retro episodes?

So the square gets news of dots death next week

Janine lies about something not sure what to mick. Sonia realises she is lying and calls...Ricky to come and sort his sister out

So Ricky will return pre Xmas I think and get involved in the storyline

No way mick will leave the square without Linda unless he's in a coffin!!!

Oh AND the big reveal about the accident must be down to Scarlett. The photo she found that proves janine was around the night of the accident has been hidden in a Die Hard dvd case

And what's everyone's fav Xmas film-...Die hard

So I reckon that photo will be found over Xmas soon and spark the unravelling of Janines lies (or so I hope!)

I can imagine Mick is a big Die hard one fan!
I bet there is a an argument that's it is a ' Christmas film'!
Probably Janine will take off and Mick will follow her ?
