Dead to me season 3

Anyone watching?(can't see a thread)
I have watched the first three episodes and I think it's OK so far.
Really liked the first season and did get into and ended up enjoying the 2nd.

I finished and hated S 3. I know they need to wrap things up because of poor Christina Applegate's MS diagnosis, but it makes no sense, and is terribly mawkish. S 1 had so much promise, S 2 was ok and then it just went off course. So much pointless weeping and self flagellation, all the humour sucked out of it.
