Any opportunity for Sue to have a dig at Matt and she will take it. I’m so disappointed in her as I’m a Corrie fan and was really rooting for her at the beginning but now I really hope she is out next or Chris after his comments in the bush telegraph, playground behaviour.

I just think it takes less time for them to cook and they’re a little softer as the outside doesn’t have to cook as long while the inside cooks. If you see what mean.

Some people don't pre cook spuds they are going to roast first! I'm not sure what difference it makes ?

I parboil my roast because it makes them fluffier on the inside and crunchier on the outside.

I never par boil chips.

My friend is from ' up north ' and said I was a soft southerner for par boiling spuds first !
Maybe it was just a wind up !! ? Lol

The letter from home grind my gears. Surely these celebs spend a lot of time away touring and the like, so why the big drama at 2 weeks away.

I was following slimming World at the time and they said to par boil then oven them. I don't think you have to if deep frying?

Yep. I used to scoff at the letters. But working away changed after having children. So I'd be after a letter after zero contact. It's tough enough being able to phone/text/video call.

And when dh was in intensive care in August and the only updates I got was from my daily calls and not being able to just text him was the hardest thing I've done. And that was just over a week until he was taken off sedation and able to text when I took his phone up.
