Caught an interesting documentary on telly last night , MT and ZARA dont get any royal dosh, they live on sponsorship deals from names like Land rover for Zara and things like after dinner speaking for MT.. thats why hes in there presumably (we were pondering, thinking he was loaded a few nights ago)

It’s well known they don’t get any money from the Royals. However they live with Anne on her estate and presumably don’t pay rent! Prior to that they lived in Cheltenham.

Mike and Zara live in a house on Princess Anne's estate. They have great PR as I regularly see them called 'hard working people'. Zara has never had a proper job in her life. Yes, they're both great sportspeople but she came from a background of immense privilege where she was able to pursue the sport she loved. They make millions from sponsorship through their royal connections.

I always imagined that they were quite a nice couple but I'm not so sure after seeing Mike in the jungle. Best to have kept his powder dry.

Zara is a professional event rider. Just like other professional riders at that level she gets sponsorship from various companies, and probably sells horses too. You don’t get to ride at that level without a lot of hard work, no matter how much money you have. I think they moved onto Princess Anne’s estate for privacy/security. Plus it’s got equestrian facilities that Princess Anne won’t use as much now she doesn’t compete herself anymore.

Maybe MT has a sponsorship deal with the makers of budgie smugglers

Anyway, i never said they were skint, i had just presumed they had royal money backing before now.
