I would have saved Tyler. Molly is a good dancer but the routine was not the sort of jive that gets top marks. Not a huge amount of energy in it. I think the routine ler her down.

I thought there were parts where it looked as if she was marking the routine out rather than dancing the steps. Not her fault, she’s a lovely dancer, but I would’ve saved Tyler.

I think Ellie benefits from people voting for Johannes as well as her, I reckon voting to keep a pro in is definitely a thing.

To some extent I do that for Will, because I think Nancy is amazing.

No complaints about this week, well maybe one..I agree that Fleur basically did a music video and won't have that opportunity again.

Helen was brilliant, she's the bigget improver. So much energy surely she's the fittest contestant.

Molly, well I see her confidence draining away. It wasn't a goid routine and she didn't sell it. I think she's resigned to the dance off every week until she goes. She obviously doesn't have the voting base. Might get a sympathy 'bounce' next week though?

OK I have to ask what is tea bagging in relation to this?

The move where the female dancer ends up face up with the male astride her neck and they sort of Bob up and down.

shame tyler went. don't know why they saved molly, she will be in the DO again.

I got distracted and didn't watch Molly's dance-off. I want to rewatch both versions to check my theory that she missed some choreography the first time.

I’d have preferred Tyler to stay but the routine just wasn’t great, not his fault, too many lifts and Diane thrown about. Molly and Carlos am just not a fan of...

i thought molly's jive was very flat footed and lacked bounce
its a tough dance to do well and I think the huge dance floor, poor choreography and faffing with the other dancers meant it was poor
reckon she'll get a raft of tens next week to try and keep her out of the dance off

Quite baffled by some of the judging and scoring this week. Fleur's was like a pop video; lots of dramatic shapes and posing, which would look good edited in a choppy video but wasn't that entertaining to watch live. I think she's wonderful and I'd far rather watch her in something combining her power and charisma with technique, like her AS and samba.
Will looked like an embarrassing dad. Nancy was spectacular, though.
Tyler's was a mess IMO. I hate disco salsas and I thought his back-and-front hips were overdone and there was no suggestion of the classic salsa figure-of-eight. He was also stompy in a lot of it. Didn't mind that he got sent home.
Molly's jive was flat, no sense of the 'pistoning' action of the legs and feet. The choreo was shit as well; I think Carlos panicked about covering the huge floor and just had them running about. Wouldn't have minded if she'd got sent home instead.
Ellie was quite good, although I agree about her Barbie-Doll arms; she needs a bit more feeling. Lovely dress for once. Disappointing ending; I'd rather have seen them finish the dance together.
Hamza was a joy. So light on his feet, such a courteous partner. He is amazing at the lifts.
Kym was OK but hamstrung by the appalling music. I find her very uncharismatic. Sorry Kym.
Helen's QS was technically good, very lively and bright, and I liked the dress; think they were going for rockabilly, in an homage to Amy W. BUT I still feel like there's something missing; she's a bit uptight or prim or self-conscious or something. I want her to really lose herself in the dancing.

I am at the poster adamant that Ellie is a) always near the top of the board and b) a ringer. Are you mixing her up with Helen?

Motsi looked fantastic but her comments were a bit rambling. Craig was sweet welling up in the results show. I wish Anton wouldn't turn all his judging bits into a monologue about himself.

I thought the same. Another pro might have got more from Tyler. He is talented imo. Would not swop Katya away from Tony for anyone though 😀

Katya certainly gets a lot out of her pros. I’ll never forget Ed Balls dance.

Yes I thought the same thing. There was no doubt that Molly was technically better (as far as I know!) but I enjoyed watching Tyler much more. Don’t get me wrong, he hadn’t improved enough, but I still wanted him to stay out of the two. I can’t work out why Molly’s dance left me cold either!

for me, it seemed to be a few dance moves strung together with running about. The moves she did seemed to be done well enough (not that I have a clue!) but they didn't join together and it seemed to lack energy. It didn't flow. Tyler was criticised last week for just walking between set pieces and this seemed similar.

Terrible song choice and that awful walking beginning thing
