Agreed with Anton would have saved Tyler he did up his game and was more entertaining than Molly. She has for me has stayed the same throughout the competition she hasn’t got better or worse.

Does anyone remember the Flavia wig? Unlike Aston's Afro of Doom, it bestowed upon the wearer the ability to do a fabulously memorable dance. Off the top of my head, it was worn by Aliona in the Pulp Fiction jive, by Anita Rani in her Ghost AS, and by Georgia May Foote in her Chicago Charleston. Rumour has it that, just as Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort have twinned wands, both containing a feather taken from the same phoenix, the Flavia wig and the Aston wig both contain a hair plucked from Anton's chest.

Apparently the pros don't choreograph the showdances. I don't know if this is a fairly recent scenario or if it has always been the case.

When Kym's waiting for votes she always looks to me as though she's ready to duff up any judge who's less than complimentary. 😁

Someone upthread mentioned the gurning. No one, but no one is worse than Johannes for gurning. I noticed those two bairns were learning it early as well.

I liked Helen's quickstep. Remember Aljaz and Abbey Clancey's Blackpool quickstep? Gorgeous. Reminded me of that!

Gutted Tyler went although agree with PPs that he hasn't really improved since the first few weeks.

Molly needs to go though as she's not that good and isn't resonating with the public. I'm not a fan of Carlos either - he leaves me cold.

I know Jason G put his oar in last year but the rest were done by pros themselves, hence Aliona doing an understated one for Jay compared with Kev's dingy dongy trainwreck

But thinking about it, Ashley's was contempowaft wasn't it? That's usually outside and Kev and Stacey's "ooh we are dancing on different sides of a wall with a cannister of hairspray" was Tommy Franzen, so you may be right.

I would like it if someone did a tribute to Lisa & Brendan's bacofoil show dance.

Think Tyler should have stayed.
He had so much potential, but I honestly think that he was let down by the quality of the teaching.

Ellie must have a huge fan base to have avoided the DO numerous times despite being bottom of the leader board.

I feel sorry for Molly being in the DO again, reminding her that she is getting very few votes. She's had some great dances but she's missed an opportunity with both the Argentine Tango and the jive which I thought would be her dance.
Things went downhill for her after that abysmal Grange Hill routine and I hate that she keeps being given the twee music, and dolly type styling, which really isn't helping her.

I've been looking at stats of previous contestants in more than two dance offs, and Rhys Stephenson got to the semi final before being eliminated on his 4th dance off. I remember as he was waiting for his name to be read out, he looked ready to go and smiled. I guess the CBBC types just don't have as much exposure on TV and therefore don't have a large fan base. They also tend to be quite young or hyper enthusiastic so maybe that is a factor too.

I like Fleur and I'm not surprised that she got 40 for her dance. However, I agree that she was basically doing a pop music video sequence and there was a lot of posing rather than actual dancing.
No more Beyonce for her please , as that's twice now. She's overplayed on Strictly as it is.

Not surprised that Will is still there but he's been pretty meh.

I agree that while Diane is the most wonderful dancer, I saw her this year with Burn the floor, she isn't the greatest teacher, Katya would have got more from Tyler but then no one could have done better with Tony than Katya.

I said the same to DP @piedbeauty.

Shame. I enjoyed his dance more.
