I've just caught up with it all...
For me, it might be Molly and Kym in the dance-off. Molly because the candyfloss/bubblegum flavour of her costumes and choreography hasn't varied much over the weeks (not her fault!). Kym because it was hard to see what she was doing, somehow - dancing in the dark with loads of shiny confetti all over the place, distracting lighting and extra dancers. And weird music, doesn't really bring Paso Doble to mind.
Agree about Tyler not having progressed much - early on, I thought he'd probably win it, but he seems to do the same things well without really showing new skills (unless I'm just oblivious to them, which is possible in my technical ignorance!). What really amazed me in their routine was how dangerous the lifts looked, with Diane's head being thrown towards the floor at high speed, terrifying - I can't imagine giving anyone the chance to do that!
I really enjoyed Fleur's dance and thought Craig's 10 was understandable, given how fond he is of entertainment value as well as dance technique. She had such extraordinary energy. Re the sob story, I am pretty sure the BBC persuade the celebs to rake up these emotional trump cards to play, especially for the couple's choice. It's all part of the way the natural drama of the whole show has become more forced and artificial from one year to the next.
