I dont get the criticism of her tbh. Her boss warned her not to her too chummy with him. Nobody wants to lose their job because they failed to do what their boss said was important.

Sean out next. I hope. He's so boring.

How did that work, when they didn’t know in advance that he was going to be there?

Miss03852 · 19/11/2022 17:12

I still can’t believe Charlene actually said “IACGMOOH” on one of the easiest trials of the series! And she had the nerve to make digs when Matt got 7 stars!

How could her boss warn her about Matt Hancock being there and not being friendly ? - none of the camp mates knew in advance he was coming.Confused

2Rebecca · 19/11/2022 17:18

I think the being impartial thing was an excuse. She didn't like him and didn't want to be unpopular with the others for seeming to get on with him.
She interrogated him on day 1 when she could have just been building a rapport with everyone and asked the searching questions later. I note she didn't interrogate BG, that was left to Scarlett or ask the drunk drivers about their convictions, or query Moyles' insults about women and homosexuals on air. She just went for the Tory

Bluffinwithmymuffin · 19/11/2022 17:28

Somebody said on the last thread, CW missed the chance to get the scoop of her career with MH, which is what I’ve been thinking all along. The idea that “her boss” advised her not to get too close to him completely contradicts everything her industry stands for, ie spotting a story, finding out the facts, informing the public etc. A decent journalist could have done all that and more without intimidating the subject or compromising herself.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 19/11/2022 17:34

three are out tonight according to The sun

MrsLargeEmbodied · 19/11/2022 17:35

actually that was yesterdays news!
so fake!

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 19/11/2022 18:10

NellyCat · 19/11/2022 11:51

I don't get the Sue hate? She seems perfectly inoffensive and pleasant. MH clearly is a fuckwit about expecting people to clear up after him.

I feel like Sur’s fuckwit comment was done to gain popularity in the camp.

I understand now re the Seann and Scarlette thing. Scarlette isn’t very patient is she, and she’s a bit two faced - I think I’m going off her a little.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 19/11/2022 18:12

yes, sue was looking smug and expecting approval

HappyHamsters · 19/11/2022 18:13

Who is going to do the cooking with Scarlette now that C has gone? I wonder if anyone will volunteer or does Mike get to make the decision. If Sue and Baba keep getting exempt are they going to put themselves forward for non water or food trials.

lollipoprainbow · 19/11/2022 18:14

I noticed Scarlette last night was also being a bit mean about MH which she wasn't previously. She seems to be changing.

bluebell34567 · 19/11/2022 12:12

MH handled BG’s ridiculous rant v well.
you mean where he talked to BG with Seann there?
he did handle it so perfectly. BG didnt expect that i guess.

Yes that one!

He is a politician and so used to people telling him he’s a dick so I think BG didn’t get the emotional reaction he expected.

Was v unkind of BG to do that with poor anxious Seann standing there.

BG is v good a trials though - if I was there I’d be sending him and MH to them all, they bring back the stars while barely breaking a sweat. I did laugh on the angel of the north trial where Baba & Chris were panicking like mad and BG was just say crossed legged at the bottom holding up about 10 stars whilst humming 😂😂

Dave20 · 19/11/2022 14:12

Oh wait til we get the letters from home. I can’t stand all the emotions and blubbering!

I get everyone would miss their kids/ partners. But let’s be realistic. The ‘celebs’ get paid vast sums of cash. They stay in a lovely hotel at the end of it, with their families. They come back after three weeks.

We have British service people spend months away from home, who aren’t on lots of money and don’t get the five star treatment. Often in dangerous environments.

Not just service people, but people who work for charities and other jobs where they need to travel abroad. Sometimes for long periods of time.

I agree, I hate the blubbering like they’re not going back to them £250,000 richer. I am still haunted by Jason Donovan’s snot bubbles

Owen needs as much as food as possible to fuel his steroid enhanced muscles

Owen is most certainly not on steroids. Steroids don’t give you that kind of body, people on steroids will be broad but with big pot bellies, and bad tempers. Anyone who watched MAFS - Matt is a good example. Broad shoulders and muscly arms but a belly that made him look 8 months pregnant

I was a bit puzzled when they all looked surprised at MH turning up, as I'm sure it was first reported in the press several weeks before the show started - even before the participant's went into "isolation" prior to the show (not sure if they're incommunicado during that time as well?)

LucyLastikk · 19/11/2022 18:35

bluebell34567 · 19/11/2022 12:20

i bet sue is quite scared after last night being voted second to CW.

Is this how it works though? I've often wondered if the other "it might be you" contestant is picked at random and not necessarily the one who got second fewest votes... does anyone know?🤔

JaneJeffer · 19/11/2022 19:25

It is random @LucyLastikk

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 19/11/2022 19:31

I asked this on a previous thread and didn't see an answer but I do think the "it might be you" is random

BlueRidge · 19/11/2022 19:51

The benefit of being the "it was nearly you" person is that it can prompt viewers to vote for them if they like them but didn't realise they were in jeopardy.

I'm so glad they've got rid of the contest where some get immunity. There have been horrible/dull people in the past who've deserved to go out first but have been saved by that and come out thinking they were more popular than they actually were.

Bluekerfuffle · 19/11/2022 19:52

HappyHamsters · 19/11/2022 14:18

Maybe matts reply to sue was in response to her callinhg him a fuckwit which was nasty and booed by the others plus she seems to do fuck all except empty the dunny once a day. Why does Owen think he should be the only one to get any leftovers? He constantly talks about how he needs the food. Isnt he the youngest, fittest, healthiest looking of them all. I wonder how long George would have spouted off about Matt to sean if Matt hadnt of come along and found them.

But he had already given her a crappy response with a bad attitude the first time when she hadn’t called him a fuckwit, so I don’t blame her for calling him one when it happened again.

LucyLastikk · 19/11/2022 20:29

Thanks for confirming that, @JaneJeffer and @Hungrycaterpillarsmummy! Pity they don't have to do a dance-off to decide who gets eliminated... 🤔😁

This just appeared on Google home page ???

That was when they went to the beach

itsgettingweird · 19/11/2022 20:53

Must be a phone, she showed the others pics of her kids

She had something with her kids on as her luxury item iirc?

Wakemeuuuup · 19/11/2022 12:03

I've just read that Babatunde will be exempt from the celebrity cyclone if he gets that far as he can't swim.

To me that means he needs to be out by then. You can't be there and not take part in that trial.

I was thinking this yesterday.

It's very obvious he couldn't swim as even he didn't seemed surprised to be exempt from trials involving water and they have the ditch of water at the bottom.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/11/2022 20:57

Night off work and can actually watch live for once 😃😃😃
