Is it really so terrible to look your age these days?

I’ve embraced my grey hair, I’ve embraced my wrinkles, my teeth are still okay - not been bleached or veneered. My menopausal belly I’m not so struck on but I haven’t done anything about that either, because I am lazy and watch too much telly 🤣

Has there been enough research for long time use of fillers or Botox? so many young (really young) people are using this repeatedly. What does it do long term? 30 or 40 years down the line?

I know my friend’s breast implants started leaking bits into her body at 10 years. She was all gung ho, got it scraped out and new, bigger ones popped in. She’s swallowed her front tooth veneers twice now. I could not be done with the hassle.

My hairdresser is mid 20s and she was telling me last week about how she'd missed her Botox appointment recently and couldn't wait until she could go again.
So sad that someone of that age feels they need to change their looks and worry about wrinkles that she probably doesn't really have.

The lips on Emmerdale are getting ridiculous.

I’m just leaving work so I’m going to miss it. And same shift tomorrow. I might have to catch up with those two at the weekend.

and got asked to work late shifts on Fridays all of December. my rota is 1 in 4. So it’s a nope, nope and fat nope from me. My boss would like to go to parties. I care not for a late Friday. Not only does it mess with Emmerdale, if Strictly is moved to a Friday I’m going to miss that too.

I must get a recorder thing. 🤣 I’m still not doing all the Fridays though.

On my old shifts I had to pack a full week of soaps into 2 nights.

I honestly didn't miss Leyla until she turned up, what funeral did Jacob and Liam see Leyla at, I can't remember.

I'm finally warming to McKenzie, he's brilliant with the little kids, but Charity will be heartbroken when she finds out.

I'd have kicked Samson well into touch by now, I kind of understand why he says what he says, he never wanted a baby but unfortunately he's to immature to realise he can't just wish her away, calling social services was an unforgivable thing to do, and as they say "he who dippeth the wick must pay for the oil" so he has to grow up and cop on to himself.
