Call me hard-hearted Hannah but Mandy's 'performance' caused me more distress than that pantomime one-punch and out. And Chip failing to be Skippy and saving the dosh. I should be banned off this thread really.😅

Totally agree @CuriousCatfish and @FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge Yet again the writers are sat round a table trying to think of the most twisted and cruel way to run a story. It's not enough for them that he's grieving and desolate. It was the same with Liv, all the agony she had to endure in life then her nasty mother comes along to cause more agony.

It is not entertainment, it's just sick.

@TellingBone thank God it was one punch and out as the state of Vinnie implies he took a vicious beating and I'm just relieved the writers didn't insist on showing us all the gory details.

I used to watch Hollyoaks and he played a nasty piece of work in that too. Can't look at him as lovely Dr Nate anymore, they've ruined it lol!

Misery heaped upon more misery. When will they learn that this is NOT entertainment and it is not what we want to watch.

A other example of a character coming in out of nowhere and taking centre stage. If you'd missed an episode you'd have no idea who this guy is. I don't even know his name.

Who even is Darren? It's a shite story line and Mack needs to leave Vinnie alone as well.

I hope so, not so much for Dawn, but Will was so nasty to her after the wedding he'd deserve it.

Poor Vinnie, he's just trying to cope with his grief and he needs help, not Mandy screaming at him.

I used to love Home and Away, god the river boys were gorgeous, I loved their tattoos, especially Heath's, haven't watched for years though.

Mack and Vinnie won a game of poker with Darren/Dr Nate as they tricked him into believing Vinnie is a simpleton when he's actually a poker shark. Won £10,000 off him.

Darren/Dr Nate then overheard David and Jimmy talking about how Vinnie is shit hot at poker and he'd fooled some idiot. This enraged Darren/Dr Nate and he turned into angry man who went round to Vinnie's, beat the crap out of him and took his money back. Chip the dog stood by and did nothing except a couple of half hearted barks. Vinnie is on a path of self destruction, I think he deliberately provoked Darren/Dr Nate into beating him as some sort of punishment/self loathing/grief for Liv.

Elsewhere Kim appears to be hosting the new series of The Apprentice and playing Gabby and Dawn off against each other.

I never got round to watching the last episode. Oh well.

I suspected Arthur was gay after the last episode. Think it's good to show this from a young boys point of view but horrible to see him so upset.
