Just seen an ad for series 6, sounds like it’ll be an interesting start from the spoiler I read!

That really would be a shock, almost as shocking as Christine turning down food.

Without being spoilery, I think the 'interesting start' is a good idea - it was getting to the point where you'd reasonably expect someone to Say Something, instead of just letting that person carry on the way they did. All the time.

I agree. You wouldn’t let someone continue to get away with that.

Apparently the whole series is going to be available on iplayer after the first episode airs.

I would love for Beth to stand up for herself in the new series. I love that slap at the end of season 4! That whole episode was great.

He’s a Scottish wrestler and comedian/actor and quite famous in Scotland apparently! Was in a police comedy series.

Just discovered series 6 is out and love this show. I've found this series really good so far. Good interesting start in ep 1, found ep 2 hilarious and enjoying ep 3 so far.

I am binge watching it this morning - it’s a real return to form I’d say. I was finding it a really uncomfortable watch last series due to the now-departed character - it was just getting too hard to understand why anyone would put up with it!

Just watched first episode of the new series. Personally I'm not sorry Cathy has gone. In the last series I found her so awful I could hardly bear to watch.

Really enjoyed this episode - prefer the more gentle humour.

I really liked her too. I hope she’ll be in the next series.

I’ve now watched all episodes, really enjoyed it.

I like that she means well but often ends up saying the wrong thing and putting her foot in it. Also Gordon does this a bit. Reminds me of myself lol !
