Just finished watching too. Some absolutely nonsense themes, as always. The bee one was just bizarre, and agree that Ellie S was shafted by music/dance combo.

I loved Fleur, though I agree it was a bit messy here and there. I loved that Motsi told them not to waste time with lifts and just focus on the dancing. I'd have given her 2 votes if I had been home last night.

My other vote would have gone to Kym. That was the first time I felt she connected with the dance and I thought it was excellent.

Hamza is just lovely and I want him to win.

Not sure who will be in the bottom two, but I think it's time for James to go home.

I liked Ellie and the hocus pocus thing, was the best Halloweeny one. Some weren’t even in the theme..James and Amy I’m looking at you!

My faves were Molly, Tyler and Tony.

Not keen on Helen or Fleur, find Helen blahhhh and fleur stompy and erratic. I think James will go tho as they did not meet the brief.

James and Amy not in the Hallowe'en theme probably because of his Christian beliefs.

Which is fair enough. I just think there were many more options they (producers) could have gone with.

I wouldn't mind if they ditched Halloween week... too many 'theme' weeks and not enough actual prop free, faffing abahhht free dancing!!! Also, to be fair, lots of people really don't celebrate Halloween at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ In my family we do, it's a long-standing tradition, I love it and all the fun involved (I'm Irish it's part of my being!!) but I can also see why others would rather not. I don't know whether it is the reason why James' theme was a bit 'off-piste' but if it was, I feel sorry for him because it could well land him in the dance off due to the sheer ridiculousness of it.

I mean if they wanted a mini-beast theme then surely doing something with a spider theme would have worked a bit better than a fecking bee!! The lobster last year was equally ridiculous.

Saw Countryfile was ending so sat myself down with a cup of tea for the results show. It's flipping Antiques Roadshow first! Sigh.

I LOVE Acorn Antiques! My friend's husband, who died last year, loved it too and we'd often phone afterwards to see how well we'd guessed on the items. I have nothing approaching an antique, well I do have a Victorian portrait of a not particularly attractive woman that is almost certainly worth bobbins, but I love looking at antique items. It's right up my street.
