Great film!

Hill House is fantastic, one of the scariest -but also really emotional series I’ve ever watched. The actors and writing are fantastic and you really get attached to the characters.

Bly Manor, however, wasn’t great IMO. It’s set in England but written and designed by someone who’s obviously never been here - lots of American anachronisms and things that jarred (they eat cottage pie with a side salad at one point 🤦‍♀️). Not a complete waste of time but nowhere near as good as Hill House.

Bly Manor was totally average.
Hill House was a slow burn initially but easily one of the best TV series I've watched, ever!

Hill house is scary and cool. Bly manor was meh

I'm gonna go against the grain and say bly Manor. Much preferred it. Saw it before Hill house. I found bly had deeper meaning and more background to it. Bly was more creepy and in your head and hill house was more jump scares.

Hill House is one of my absolute favourite things ever.

Sadly the TV wouldn't fit.

It's a friends reference, Joey keeps The Shining in the freezer as it is so scary (and then has to put Little women in as it is too sad)

Haunting of gill house is scary as hell (loved it). Blu manner is a love story but still good and has some frightening parts

The house of usher is the next one out by the director.

like the 4 he has done, Hill house, Bly manor, midnight mass and midnight club, house of usher will be different too. None are the same. He likes to play around with genre - yes all horror but different genres of horror, house of usher is an Edgar Allen Poe adaptation

There's a lesbian sex scene I think? Or you hear it but don't see it.

It's extremely scary though imo. Quite a bit of gore/dead bodies.

Suicide.

It's not for the faint hearted.
