Yes, Andy killed his adoptive mum when he was about Kyle's age. Jack covered it up I think although Robert knew and it was what fuelled their love hate relationship

If Cain had explained what happened to Kyle's grandmother Kerry they could have covered it up instead of this crap

It's a bit of a crap story line really. I doubt Kyle would have got done if Cain said it was an accident.
