Good point! Maybe the real killer has a separate gun that was used to kill Al. Not Kyle then as I doubt very much Cain and Moira would allow him to have access to guns.

Paddy, on the other hand, would have access to a gun as he's a vet.

My money is on Kyle.

Cain was definitely shaken up afterwards though.

Even after when him ,Nate and Moira nearly got killed on the boat..he just acted as cool as a cucumber.

Hopefully we will know soon if the bullets match .

It's either someone who followed Cain from his own house, or someone who must have been following Al from the Village. Nobody knew either of them were going to the barn. Aaron's departure was certainly a bit of a non event this time, so he's an obvious choice.

I don't think Paddy could keep it together. Kyle doesn't even know Al is dead, so maybe Cain has told him he would be okay and he believes that. Or he could just me made IPD even tougher stuff than Cain

Couldn't decide if all the references to him tonight were red herrings or not. Him shooting his granny's fiancé.

But I also think it would be too similar to Sarah Sugden's death.

He was shot with a shotgun not a rifle, they have cartridges not bullets, you could maybe match the empty casing?
The shotgun would be too heavy for a child, I have used them and there would be a kick back that could be powerful enough to knock a child over, which would affect the aim.
Also Al's chest wound was a bit small for a shotgun wound.
Paddy wouldn't have access to Moira's gun cabinet, pretty sure Moira wouldn't let the kids anywhere near the keys either.
Maybe it was Aaron and Kyle witnessed it?

Why were they at the barn anyway? Is that where they had arranged to meet? All I saw on the text was Hotten road? Not sure if the barn is on there?

I think it is Aaron, on reflection Kyle unlikely to be able to shoot a gun and be a good shot...

Vets don't have guns they use humane captive bolts.

@KissTheHostGoodbye Cain had Chas's burner phone and texted Al with the barn as a change of meeting place.

The whole thing has got me completely confused. I can't see a 10? yo child wandering into a barn and shooting somebody. Cain had the gun pointed at Al anyway. I think it's more likely to be Aaron.
Every time I think Chas can't get any worse, I'm proved wrong. Her telling Cain that "This is all on you" was unbelievable.

Maybe Kyle ran into the barn and into Cain and the gun went off?

It'll probably be revealed it was Amy or something and we'll all be here going crazy
