Not very clever but it'll do!

Maybe Kyle followed Cain to the barn...

excelledyourself · 01/11/2022 21:19

The way he came running saying 'Dad, the police are outside!' Like Cain had already told him it would all be okay?

whatsthestory123 · 01/11/2022 23:17

well havent seen or heard cain leaving in real life
could of been a tussle and the gun went of
still hope chas gets found out and paddy kicks her out

Jojoanna · 01/11/2022 23:25

Oo yes could have been Kyle excelled

PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 07:18

Oh not cute little Kyle. Although could explain why Cain looked scared and was wiping the gun. If he'd killed Al, Cain would have owned it.

lollipoprainbow · 02/11/2022 07:26

Why would Kyle want to kill Al?!

excelledyourself · 02/11/2022 07:38

lollipoprainbow · 02/11/2022 07:26

Why would Kyle want to kill Al?!

Because he was hurting his dad? Or just by accident, really. Pointing the him to scare him.

CoffeeLover90 · 02/11/2022 07:50

I forgot about him wiping the gun. If Al had fired it, he wouldn't of done that. He also wouldn't have made up that story in the station because the backfire makes more sense and could be forensically proven.
I now think someone else shot him. Kyle possibly, maybe Aaron. We didn't see him actually leave. He might have called to the farm to see cain first. Needs to be someone close, who he's willing to protect. Most were at the wake.
There's nothing online about cain leaving but they could be tight lipped. Maybe he did but didn't mean to.
If he did kill him he has no hope of getting away with it.
I'd rather the backfire theory, then there's no risk of other characters being dragged in.

PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 08:06

Yes I'd much rather the backfire theory but then why did Cain make up that stupid story of not even being in the barn when the gun went off?

No doubt we'll get a flashback scene in the coming months showing what really happened.

excelledyourself · 02/11/2022 08:11

I don't understand why he wouldn't just say if there was a backfire and let them check it out. So that he didn't have to admit to being there, and therefore didn't have to say why he was there?

And why was Belle being so off with Chas? I think her and Al have history, but what? So I didn't expect her to car about him, but does she already suspect Chas of an affair?

ilovebrie8 · 02/11/2022 09:27

@PrincessScarlett yep I agree that's what I said last night why he was saying that story how does that work...doesn't make sense at all it's stupid. I think he must be protecting someone is the only conclusion...am guessing Aaron or Kyle...

JaneJeffer · 02/11/2022 09:36

@excelledyourself Belle knows they had an affair, remember she saw them together at the hotel? Chas told her she'd end it but I think Belle is suspicious of her reaction to his death. I love her giving Chas the evils Grin

Oh man, thank god for you lot, our op ran on longer than any of us thought. I missed the plus one as well. I have a good idea what’s gone on so that will tide me by til I can catch up with the omnibus 😁

PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 09:50

Or maybe Paddy? Perhaps he's pretending he doesn't know about Al to Chas. Cain might protect Paddy and would explain all that gushy talk from Cain about Paddy being a good man. Paddy would certainly have motive if he knew Chas was planning on leaving and taking Eve 🤷🏻‍♀️

JaneJeffer · 02/11/2022 10:00

I saw that suggested by someone on DS @PrincessScarlett and thought hmm maybe it was Paddy. I could imagine Cain telling him to scarper and he'd clear up but then Kerry just happened to be in the vicinity and caught him before he had time.

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 02/11/2022 10:01

Could be the reason he wanted to go away for the night was to stop Chas from leaving with Al.

I wonder if the Robblesfield Rides cabbie got paid by Chloe? Grin

OP posts:
PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 10:08

And would explain why Cain looked scared as he knew he would be in the frame for murder when Kerry (the murderer) accidentally discovered him.

Jojoanna · 02/11/2022 10:09

Hmm there's more to this than meets the eye ,,

PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 10:09

I'd be happier with Paddy going down for murder over Cain.

PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 10:11

Although that's quite sad if Paddy has known for ages that Chas was having an affair

JaneJeffer · 02/11/2022 10:13

Maybe Dominic wants some time off to make another of his zombie films.

Paddy managed to hide his affair with Tess so he's capable of being devious.

Ah, I didn't know that. I hadn't watched in months and I've only just started watching again from the last few episodes leading up to Faith's death.

PrincessScarlett · 02/11/2022 10:19

@JaneJeffer I think I'd want time off to if I was having to act alongside screeching Chas! 🤣

JaneJeffer · 02/11/2022 10:21

True Princess Grin
