I live in Brisbane where the celebs filming the uk ‘I’m a celeb’ fly into.
Matt Hancock flew in a few days ago and was strutting his stuff around the airport as I took my in-laws to the departure floor. Not sure if he’s been mentioned yet

Gosh it ended a bit abruptly. Twice AntNDec said it had been two years but surely it’s been three, as they had Wales 2020 and 2021?!

BG was a coach on The Voice for at least one series, so maybe some younger types may know him from there. I can never decide if he’s being really dry or he really is up himself.

I feel like the ‘roles’ are gonna be:

Mike & Sue = Mum & Dad
Owen = Joey Essex pt2
Babatunde = camp clown
Boy George = this season’s Big Whinger
Chris & Olivia = unlikely friendship
Charlene & Scarlett = first ones out
Jill = nation’s favourite and residence badass.

Though Owen could win it as well.

Boy George was a judge on The Big Deal - an Irish talent show last year.

I can't believe Mike is only 44! (From The Daily Mail in that link.) He looks at least in his mid 50's to me!

Thoughts so far:
Babatunde - Funny but again will be voted for a lot for challenges
George- Funny and down to earth, but mantras and yoga will fade over the process
Sue - Top 4 already, gave it a great go at the first challenge and is humorous
Mike - Despite the clearly edited articles making up nonsense he is funny and down to earth cannot wait to hear what he says about H and M and their behaviours towards RF
Olivia - Will go far also slightly argumentative once a week or two into it
Owen - Very ditzy might be voted for challenges as much as Hancock
Scarlette - Lovely but might be argumentative
Chris - appearing much nicer than initially expected
Jill - Underdog funny and good at challenges
Charlene- Did well seems lovely and most likely to question Hancock currently

@marblemad he won’t say anything, or if he does it won’t be aired.

I think anyone expecting salacious revelations from MT will be very disappointed.

Loved it last night, I only meant to watch 10 mins as I'm a 9pm bed girl but I had no problem watching it to the end. Love tv done well.

Hoping those picks of MT are just his rugby persona. I used to go out with a rugby player and he was quite physical with people like that and not slimy at all.

So far I like him and I LOVE Jill Scott and Owen had me howling !

Jill is my favourite so far, a total legend.

I'm old enough to remember George and think he will be a diva when hungry, possibly say inappropriate things and end up with folk frothing for him to be cancelled.

Owen is eye candy. Good to ogle, but thick as pudding and will grate on some but others will love him.

Mike seems a nice down to earth bloke. The pictures in the mail I take with a pinch of salt despite the fact it doesnt look good. I'll give him a chance.

I liked Olivia, Charlene and Sue too. Charlene was fantastic standing on the ledge so long waiting for Baby to take one step forward, two steps back.

Watching GMB and it said Baby left Charlene waiting for 45 mins on the platform while he dithered!!! She is fantastic 😍

Olivia has quit on medical grounds.

Sorry to see Olivia has had to leave following a medical incident. I really liked her.

Aww no Olivia. I was thinking she would do very well.

i'm ok with Olivia leaving because I hadn't heard of her. Does that mean she gets to spend x number of weeks at the Versace hotel or wherever it is they stay?

I wonder what medical grounds, seems very early for her to leave.
