Week 2 thoughts? I thought the right person went but I thought the bottom two should have been the other bottom Queen.

I've only watched 1 US series and agree that the quality was a lot higher than the UK.

I would have had Peppa/Jonbers/Pixie in the bottom. Dakota was growing in confidence. And they won the sync imo.

the wailing is doing my head in but to be fair it seems to be be happening in a fair few reality shows. Most people have had sadness in their lives but don’t use it to garner sympathy or votes.

I want Drag Race to be joyous, snippy and glam. And ideally have a step by step tutorial on how to do a fabulous eye 😁

I'm going out tonight, I'd love them to do my eye make up (except maybe Pixie - I don't want yo look older!)

God yes ! I wish some of the queen's would do an eye make up tutorials. They are so talented 😍

A good challenge would be to have to create makeup tutorial videos then get some randoms in to follow the tutorials and judge the best one.

I would love Cheddar to do a makeover for me - the idea of being beautiful without fitting into a stereotypical mould of what beauty is, really appeals

Queens of the night on ITV hub is worth the watch - Asstina, Blu and Kitty are three of the mentors on it and Courtney Act one of the judges.

I'm miffed that Dakota went over Pixie. Cheddar to win!

I agree that the sob stories are getting annoying but I at have at least learned some things from Cheddar's talking about being HIV positive.

@RangerHamzaHasTheRangeDarling i watched it, wished they’d done more on the transformations though. Adam went for some killer heels initially, totally get that he went for a blockier heel for the show 😁 I thought he was over reaching 😁

I enjoyed it. Thought Asttina had a lovely rapport with Mr M. They all surprised me tbh, good job by all (albeit the dancer was a bit stiff and the singer was still a bit boyband). I was surprised by but pleased for the winner, simply because of running order. They had the hardest job I think do fair play.

I thought JB looked gorgeous tonight. Danny too - just beautiful. I wasn’t keen on BP’s outfit so was surprised by the judges’ comments. Pixie’s outfit was meh, but loved the hair. Cheddar’s outfit … just wow as always.

The right top 2 - but I thought the other one would get the win. The right bottom two.

Excited about next week’s guest judge!

I didn't agree with the bottom 2 but pleased with the final result.

I also think the other one in the top 2 should have won.

Pleased with the result. Regarding the roasting next week, surely Alan Carr was play acting being offended?! - surely?! He has taken the piss out of his own teeth on multiple occasions - has been part of his stand up before. I do hope that that was just an edit cliff hanger - it would be totally out of character for Alan to react like that.

Cheddar's eye make-up was amazing.

Agree, Jonbers looked fabulous on the runway. I hope that next week we have a break from all the crying though. Are the contestants contractually required to cry at least once per episode?

I'm sure we'll get more crying next week because they're so emotional that they got to the semi final/so proud of themselves/feel validated because of all they've been through etc.

I thought the comment by Alan Carr at the end was edited, I'm assuming we'll see it in full next week where he's not really offended.

Oh Christ. You’re right. Then in the final they are shown photos of themselves as kids and grieve for their inner child.

I will have to brace myself for the WOE when Pixie gets the boot.

I just can’t see Pixie with Tia. Unfathomable. Tia is a good egg whereas Pixie throws shade but doesn’t lighten iit with humour. Bianca showed how it was done: she’d say, “hey bitch, do you need me to help you pack?” whereas Pixie was passive aggressive towards Jonbers and comes across a bit spiteful. Maybe that’s what broke them up.

Example of Tia being decent: she’s no good at sewing and Veronica Green helped her in a challenge in season 2. Tia told Veronica to get back to her own outfit because she was competing too, and that they’d still be friends even if Tia made a pig’s ear of her outfit. Which, spoiler, she did. Then in season 3 Krystal, who also can’t sew, unfairly took advantage of Veronica’s help in the sewing challenge, leaving Veronica with insufficient time to make her own outfit. Krystal aced the challenge but Veronica went home that week. That’s an insight into who’s nice and who is not!

I find myself wondering if we could have another double crowning

Ha, I still remember Tia's dress because she was so funny about it. "I am wearing a dress made out of MATERIAL, which is ON MY BODY..."

The crying. Oh Mary, Joseph, sweet baby Jesus and that blasted donkey, the CRYING. I skipped through the bit where they wheeled in a screen with the “We’re so proud of you!!!” VTs because I just couldn’t bear it.

And am I the only one who was at the praise for Jonbers’ outfit? I mean, it was nice and all, in an eau de nil My Fair Lady sort of way, but I couldn’t work out where the heaped praise came from. Cheddar looked fabulous and Black Pepper looked a hot mess. The latter should definitely have gone.

I can’t believe Peppa is through again. What am I missing?

That was funny. We need more Tia on the telly.

I’ve started watching All Stars 5. The rules are different, and each lip sync features the week’s winner v a lip sync assassin from a previous series of Drag Race. The first assassin was Yvie Oddly from season 11 (which I haven’t watched yet). She was just brilliant. Unique and streets ahead of any of our U.K. season 4 contenders. I wonder why the American queens are so good at drag compared to the rest of the world? Maybe it’s a bigger scene with more competition and more cross-pollination of ideas.
