Anyway, as it says in the thread title. New series starts tonight.

Rebs is annoying me with her green blouse thing gaping all over the place. Why can't she just wear it properly?

I haven’t wanted to eat anything anyone’s made tonight. I’m not a fan of macarons (weird texture). I do like proper garibaldis but they shouldn’t have chocolate on them!

I really really hate chocolate and raisins.

Especially not the one shaped over an old dogs bowl ...

I love them. I even wrote to Bounty when I was a child and asked if they had ever considered adding raisins...they said no.

Just came on to say those are NOT Garibaldi biscuits!

I feel really panicky 😱 like I can't remember what garibaldi biscuits look like! I've been confused by those 'healthy' ones but I think they are second row on the left?

@OneFrenchEgg - yes you are definitely right - I've never seen one with feathered bloody chocolate either!
Why on earth did they adulterate the Garibaldi - the biscuit named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, an Italian general and leader of the struggle to unify the Kingdom of Italy.

Macarons are done every bloody year for biscuit week. I'd much rather see them make shortbread or cookies or recreate a classic like a custard cream or jammy dodger.

So glad Maxy won SB. Agree the show stoppers were not particularly appetising.

I thought the judges decisions were right tonight. Felt so sorry for Carol when her showstopper fell and broke.
