Anyway, as it says in the thread title. New series starts tonight.

I like this challenge. Lots of opportunity for being really creative.

Now this looks a bit more like baking.

Just thinking about the cumulative judging- how one bad week can see a strong contestant go

What if they got a numerical score each week for each challenge and bonus for star baker then add up and the winner would be the best over the weeks.
Obviously not a viable plan or they would have thought of it-

Not to have a go at poor Abdul but he has largely been middling and I I feel like he has stuck around by keeping his head down and not because he has been the best-just reflecting on the nature of bake off

Why is Sandro making 16 pies when he only needs 8? He desperately wants that star baker but huge risk.
