I couldn't see an existing thread on this, apologies if there is and I missed it.

Anyway, as it says in the thread title. New series starts tonight.

She's also not had one really good bake. She's got to be on the chopping board tonight.

Those cakes look fab, quite fun as celebration cakes. Sancho's looked so good.

I'm so loyal to Bake Off but there's definitely been a few weird challenges this series. They should go back to simple/familiar with an extravagant twist. Someone else said it but the thing we've always liked is the accessibility of the bakes, being able to give them a go ourselves. Through lockdown the kids and I rewatched all the old seasons (took us a long time) and the best part was being able to give the technicals a go afterwards.
