Don't even think G4 are different - Simon's group Il Divo is pretty similar (and Jonathan auditioned for it), and the Kings Singers were doing this sort of thing 20 years ago.

Maybe, but in this competition, they are the only ones IMHO who are different. Who else is a little bit unique? Tabby? He's not really my cup of tea and he seems to sing rock all the time, how many other groups do that? Steve, well yeah I think he's sexy and he has a good voice, but again his choice of music does nothing for me and Rowetta, I hated her with a passion and never saw what all the fuss was about, if Simon Cowell wants to talk cruise ships and hotels in spain, (again IMO) she's the girl to do it.

Dh (who is a singing teacher) has voted for G4 every week on the basis that they can actually sing!

would you listen to whole cd though - I'd be nodding by the end.

No I could deffo listen to Steve all night - but then again - he sings my kind of tunes - good old soul classics!
