DD was horrified by g4, stopped in her tracks when they started singing and shook head at tv.........bit scared.

I think you can't tell whether any of them (with the exception of Jonathan) can sing - he is so loud in the mix that it is impossible to hear what the other three are doing. Jonathan undoubtedly has a really great voice - I'd love to hear more of the others, so I could actually judge them! Whenever I've heard them doing harmonies, they have sounded quite dodgy, especially tuning-wise.

Well, I love G4 and thought their rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" was great, despite poor Jonathan losing his voice halfway through it!
And by the way, the song has nothing to do with Liverpool at all. It's a Rogers and Hammerstein song from that great 1940s musical, "Carousel." IMO it was Liverpool that highjacked it and ruined it!

but livepool fans have adopted it as their 'song' and to many of the younger generation that song means liverpool fc.

i think they are awful and odd looking, laughed earlier this week when some tv critic said that the one with the thick eyebrows looked like stelios from easyjet, the tall thin one looked like tony blair and the chubby one looked like jono coleman!

There's nothing distinctive about Steve. G4 are great singers. They're the only ones whose CD I might buy. If you heard Steve on the radio, would you know it was him? There's nothing special about him.

Oh I agree 80'smum. Steve isn't a very distinctive singer and it's highly unlikey I'd buy his CD but he is very pleasing on the eye.

G4 on the other hand are a bunch of ugly, odd sounding teenage (ok maybe not but not far off) barber shop singers!

i think the main singer of G4's kinda cute. The blondie And I think they would be really good if they did songs that suited them better, like Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody or classical stuff. I do think they will go next week though. I dont think Steve is as sexy as everyone on here thinks he is. Kinda cute i suppose, but maybe its just cos he's a bit too old for me

Ok I'll be one of the few who thinks G4 are totally totally fantastic...compared to the rest of them anyway. Queen stuff suits them so well. Haven't voted yet...only time I have ever voted in anything was to stop Gareth Gates t'other year.
I do like opera, maybe that's a factor.
I assume from the comments on here they'll be out next.
Thought Tabby was pretty crap this week.

I think G4 are just plain weird. But for the first time, when they did the Queen song, I thought they were actually quite good, and didn't cringe while listening to them. My nephew (aged 8) put down his McFlurry and said to his gran - 'Gran, have you got any ear plugs' when they sang never walk alone though - obviously not impressed.

The Queen song showed how amazing Freddy Mercury really was, as there is no doubt these 4 boys can sing - but I'm just not convinced that Pop is their genre IYSWIM

Lorraine Kelly on this morning asked Louis Walsh outright if it was a fix that there was one act from each group through, and when he looked outraged she just shrugged and said ' come on, it's a bit convenient'. Hear hear I say. It's a fix.

My prediction is (i.e. my view of the fixed result): Steve is going to win, and Tabby will have a good career on his own, steve will fade away as they all do (David Sneddon, Alex Parks....who???). G4 will probably split up and that blond one will make a career a la Russell Watson. The others will disappear.

Will still watch it, but won't be throwing away any pennies on the voting.

I think there could be a reason for the way they each have 1 act left - people are actually voting for the judges. Just too much of a coincidence otherwise. Louis is the most unpopular judge, hence his acts were first to be pitted against each other. Then, once he was down to 1 act, 100% of his fans voted for G4, so they were safe, because Sharon and Simon's votes were split between their two acts. Next in popularity is Sharon, so her two acts were against each other. Again, once Cassie had gone, Tabby got 100% of Sharon's vote. So this week, I bet Steve and Rowetta were the bottom two. So it seems that Steve should win, followed by Tabby and then G4.

Probably not a popular opinion but Steve grins too much and G4 are just plain shite. Tabby to win!!! (and I was rooting for Tabby even when everyone else was still in the competition). I think he's fab!

I hope Steve doesn't win coz hes got the most annoying grimacing face when he sings, with screwed up eyes and everything - almost as if hes in labour.
