I met Shane Ritchie years ago when I was a student in the most random circumstances. He was married to one of the Nolan sisters at the time and she working in the same shop where I had a part time job. No, I have no idea why she worked there. He came into the shop a couple of times. Very loud and OTT. As far as I can tell there is no difference between Alfie and Shane.

I think that’s the case for of a lot of the EE actors. I can believe for example that Kat, Phil etc are pretty much the same IRL..

I’m pretty sure I read on MN about a poster who was in a bar and the actress who plays Kat was there. The poster said she behaved exactly like Kat IRL.

I don’t understand that tbh. Surely they read the scripts and realise they are playing OTT bolshy characters and they were in a soap opera because it wasn’t standard behaviour?

I think Eve is a fab actress. She portrays chemistry and vulnerability very well and her feels for Suki are almost tangiable The problem again with EE is every decent actor shows up the bad ones tenfold.

Jack Branning and Denise could take a few lessons from her.
