Disappointing that Dexys weren't in dungarees

I was just about to start a thread saying that I guess the lack of thread sums up opinions! Not a patch on the opening ceremony.

I'm watching. Was hoping Black Sabbath might make an appearance.

I didn't recognize the Dexy's frontman at first.

Toni Iommi did the opening ceremony so I think you might be disappointed.

Lenny Henry was the dominant presenter. Even though he's actually from Dudley which he might have mentioned once or twice 😂

Opening ceremony had Lennie Henry and Joe Lycett. Can't remember who else

I think the non singing founder member of UB40 got to keep the name, which is a bit sad really as the sound of Ali Campbell was so recognisable.

Yes, just reflecting on how the youngest from Musical Youth must be about my age ... and alas it is Musical Not-So-Youthful now. Great performance all the same.
