I'm watching. Was hoping Black Sabbath might make an appearance.

Ozzy has been ill for ages, we had tickets to see him 2019 and it's been cancelled several times. He has Parkinson's.

The games have been such a triumph for Birmingham. Best (and youngest!) city, filled with the friendliest people.
The closing ceremony is a tricky concept but I think, for those there, the illuminated wristbands and fireworks were a hit.

We missed the start and we’re both feeling old because we didn’t recognise anyone but it was worth watching for Black Sabbath.

We went into Birmingham on Saturday evening and the atmosphere was brilliant, it was great to just walk around and soak it all in.

It was a great night in the stadium, even from the cheapest seats. It did make me really appreciate the commentary on these things though - and the close ups. It was quite tricky to follow what was going on at times.
The atmosphere was great though. At the end of the night, there was a lot of dancing in the queues for the buses back to the city centre.
Have to say, the organisation throughout the games has been really smooth. Security felt thorough, but not intrusive. Transport worked well. So many fantastic volunteers. Good ticket prices too. They’ve done a brilliant job.

Great that they ended on a high with Ozzy.

Totally agree, I was there too last night and the organisation was absolutely amazing!!! Really nice vibes around the city, dancing, music through megaphones, cheering crowds, very friendly staff/volunteers speaking to everyone. It was just lovely. Birmingham did themselves proud!

We've recorded it so we can whizz through all the shite, which will be plentiful if it's anything like the opening ceremony.

Great games, shame about the ceremonies.

Too much miming or pre-recorded tracks for my liking.
