Poor old Vera is shuffling of this mortal coil and I will have my tissues ready but how will the powers that be do it do you think?

Aren't they going to Blackpool to see their new house? Maybe she'll get her earrings caught in the tram line and the tram will be coming, then Jack's pigeons (does he still have them?) will come and save her from certain death, by picking her up and flying her to the top of the tower to see the sights from above, but then, disaster happens and the tower collapses, and then......

What do ya reckon?

I don't understand how they can say only those involved in the plot know it, surely everyone else on the street has to know their lines etc. for the next few scenes?

I think the whodunnit when Phil was shot in Eastenders was the first time so many different endings had been filmed, (to my knowledge/memory anyway) and I could never understand it then, how the whole cast was supposed to not know how it played out...?

They can't kill her by Blackpool tram it's already been done! Who on earth would murder her? Not that 'orrible grandson surely? Maybe she finds out the truth about him and something nasty happens. I have to admit I can't wait (I am sad I know) and I am sure it will be very disressing (for me anyway...)

Sorry HumphreyCushion to spoil the plot for you I thought it was widely known as Liz Dawn had to retire in July and filmed her last scenes in December. I hope she has a nice restful time at home and gets better soon.

Why don't people in soaps ever croak normally? Doesn't she smoke, booze and eat hotpot every lunchtime? Can't she just have a big old wheezy heart attack?

No you can't get better from the type of emphasema/chronic Lung disease which Liz Dawn has (AFAIK). YOu can stop getting worse thoiugh.

On the radio this morning they played one of the clips that were filmed (apparently there are 3 endings) and in that one Vera and Jack are chatting about how much they love each other and Jack goes to get Vera's slippers and she just sighed and passed away.

Poor Jack.

Aaaaaawwwwww - she just died in her chair thinking about Jack - bless her !
